Sapore Di Napoli - Chicago, IL Reviews

In the last two years there have been several new Neapolitan Pizza restaurants open up in Chicago.  I have reviwed Spacca Napoli and La Madiaboth of which were excellent and now Sapore Di Napoli joins their ranks.  Although Sapore De Napoli is smaller and less "fancy" than the other two I appreciated the family run feel of the Sapore.  Sapore is in a small store front on Belmont with seating for about 25.  — We went here with friends of ours and all of our young kids.  We also happen to run into several other friends and their kids while we were… read full review »

This tiny treasure is located so close to my house, that my family and i have started going for dinner once a week.  They use the finest olive oil, proscuitto, mozzarella di bufala, etc.  The pizzas are outrageous!  They even have a list of white pizzas.  My favorite is the pizza bianco, which features mozzarella, mushrooms, imported italian white truffle oil, and is then topped with proscuitto di parma d.o.p..  I was dieting, and when i reached my goal, this was the treat i had.  Well worth the wait and the calories...My children love it too.  My son, who… read full review »
