We stayed at Sandals for our wedding this past January 08.  We were so pleased.  We had 12 people in our party and everyone was happy!  The customer service at Sandals is outstanding.  We didn't have our wedding at the resort but everyone was so helpful and filled in all the details we had forgotten. ... read full review »

I have traveled extensively and have never had a more horrific experience. We were there the beginning of October 2007 for one week. Sandals was having the grand opening of a new building that week. WE WERE REPEATEDLY TOLD you can't eat at this restaurant because it is reserved for our "special guests",...

Sandals Antigua- A GRANDE experience!

My husband and I recently traveled to Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa and couldn't have had a better time. This was our third visit to a Sandals resort and we plan on continuing to travel to other Sandals resorts in the future. Everything about this resort was great from the atmosphere, food, service, rooms, staff, entertainment, and tour options. The resort was enormous but easy to navigate. The newer side to the resort, the Meditteranean Village, is so beautiful! The suites are so clean and big, and the new Main Pool is extraordinary. I love any trip that involves beaches. That said, I like the beaches to be clean and uncrowded, which is not easy. We found both in St. John.

When you go to St. John in the USVI, you will find that there are so many beaches to go to, and they are never crowded, even in high season. While there are a few nice resorts to stay in, there are lots of beautiful villas to rent, and the rents are quite reasonable when compared to rentals at places like the NC Outer banks.
