Most HelpfulI was initially worried because it wasn't an Apple iPod and that's what evberyone else seemed to have. This Sansa was much cheaper than iPods at the time. I got it on sale at Radio Shack last November. Works great on the go. Also works through my car stereo with a $20 transmitter thingy (sorry I don't know what it is called, just ask at radio shack!). I like that this player also holds and plays videos and pictures. I also like that it can record sound with the push of a button and has a voice activation feature to record. This is easy to use for a first time mp3 player owner - like...

read full review »I did not think I needed or wanted an MP3 player. However, my husband wanted this for his birthday and when I saw his, I had to have one. This is a great product overall. What makes it great for me is the following:
- it is small and easily portable in my purse, plus easy to wear around your neck with the included loop
- the battery has a long life, so I am not constantly having to recharge it
- it has a lock switch to keep it off, which is handy as it keeps it from turning on when I don't want it to and draining the battery
- it is very easy to load songs onto it from CD or from a music...
read full review »I originally bought a Sansa 200R using malloffluvanna.com and was pleased with the ease of use. While I normally prefer to own rather than rent, I was persuaded to try Rhapsody-to-Go with unlimited use of their library for $15/month, also at malloffluvanna.com. For less than a CD a moth I got a player packed with easy to access music. Since Rhapsody authorizes 3 devices on an account, I bought the Sansa 250 just to keep my favorite music nearby. It is easy to load up, the shuffle function is great, and you can set up different playlists for your mood at the time, so I can shift from 80's...
read full review »I would buy another Sansa MP3 player in a heartbeat. When I clean I usually have it on and while cleaning bathroom I have dropped in toilet twice and it still works...I have also dropped on floor numerous times. I have had it about 2 years now and only problem it has after what I have put it thru is back button doesn't work really good, you have to hit in certain spot to work. The headphones aren't the greatest but headphones are pretty cheap. But for the price you really can't go wrong. The IPod 's are so expensive and
I think they are really hard to download to. The sansa is so easy...
read full review »When I decided to get an MP3 player last year, it seemed like the perfect solution to a problem I was having - I love music, but dragging a bunch of CDs with me wasn't practical.
I wanted an iPod, but couldn't afford it, so I researched alternatives. I picked the Sansa C250 for two reasons.
First, of course, was the price. At $79, it was much more affordable than the iPod, if not quit as stylish.
The second reason was the ratings I found from other people who already owned one. The only major complaint I saw was that it occassionally freezes up (I've had mine for a year and haven't had this...
read full review »sandisk mp3 player is really nice. It holds pictures, you can listen to the radio, and record from the radio too. The only thing I don't like about it is Rhapsody. If you buy this player don't get rhapsody!! I signed up for a 30 day trial offer and they charged my credit card two days later! Customer service stinks!! After I canceled my subscription they charged my account AGAIN! I called them up again and they had no record of a charge! I had to call up my credit card company and get a new number. Sandisk is good, but hooking up with Rhapsody was a big mistake. They...
read full review »I have had my Sansa c250 MP3 player for two years now. I absolutely love it! It's small enough to carry in my pocketbook wherever I go. The slot for an expansion card is great. It's easy to use and download songs on. I would highly recommend this to anyone not wanting to pay those high prices for an iPod. The Rhapsody service that came with mine is $14.99 a month for unlimited downloading of songs. A really great deal in my book.
