I just recently purchased a Sansa C 250 2GB MP3 player.  I love it.  I am not a techno wiz and it is very easy to operate and load music.  The only thing that I didn't love because I travel a lot without a laptop it's main charging is suppose to be through a USB port. I purchase a $35 kit that enables... read full review »

The sansa sandisk line is agood entry level MP3 player for the price range it competes in .i personally like the bar the goes around the on button., and think it makes it a little more inutitive to operate.

It was the first MP3 I ever owned, so I admit to being a bit sentimental to it. Unless you are...

I was initially worried because it wasn't an Apple iPod and that's what evberyone else seemed to have.  This Sansa was much cheaper than iPods at the time.  I got it on sale at Radio Shack last November.  Works great on the go.  Also works through my car stereo with a $20 transmitter thingy (sorry I don't know what it is called, just ask at radio shack!).  I like that this player also holds and plays videos and pictures.  I also like that it can record sound with the push of a button and has a voice activation feature to record.  This is easy to use for a first time mp3 player owner - like...

This is one of the best MP3 players I have ever had.  I love the drop and drag feature to place your music onto it.  No confusing programs to download. Also, you can put any type of MP3 songs on the player.  No need to buy from a certain website like Itunes.  Batteries last a long time on it.  You can place a lot of music on it, I have at least 150 songs on mine.  I know you can put a lot more on there.  It has a very sturdy case, mine has taken a few drops, and still works absolutely perfect.

I have bought a couple of these and have had the same problem on them all. After about 2 to 3 months you only get sound out of one headphone. There is some technical problem that the company just ignores.

One of the greatest feature filled, flash based, bargain priced players out there in the market today(imo). Navigating through menus/options is easy to do but not "ipod perfect". This player has almost everything other higher priced players offer in a smaller form(expandable sd card, fm tuner, fm recording, voice recording, 2 gb internal memory)
Sound was clear although i think it lacks an "ommph" in tunes with low bass and correcting it by changing its headphones to high end ones and/or adjusting equalizer settings didnt help(i havent tried it on desktop/bookshelf speakers yet). Despite the...

SanDisk knows how to produce affordable MP3 players, which is probably why value-conscious music lovers have made Sansa the second most-popular device in the U.S. market (behind the Apple iPod). The company's latest release is the Sansa c200 series, successor to the c100. At $79 for the 1GB version and $99 for the 2GB version, the c200 is SanDisk's cheapest player series to date. However, although the player is easy to use and packed with features, it's not a high-quality device.

The physical design of the Sansa c200 is nothing special, but it works. It's almost identical to the c100, except controls...

I did not think I needed or wanted an MP3 player.  However, my husband wanted this for his birthday and when I saw his, I had to have one.  This is a great product overall.  What makes it great for me is the following:

- it is small and easily portable in my purse, plus easy to wear around your neck with the included loop

- the battery has a long life, so I am not constantly having to recharge it

- it has a lock switch to keep it off, which is handy as it keeps it from turning on when I don't want it to and draining the battery

- it is very easy to load songs onto it from CD or from a music...

I originally bought a Sansa 200R using malloffluvanna.com and was pleased with the ease of use.  While I normally prefer to own rather than rent, I was persuaded to try Rhapsody-to-Go with unlimited use of their library for $15/month, also at malloffluvanna.com.  For less than a CD a moth I got a player packed with easy to access music.  Since Rhapsody authorizes 3 devices on an account, I bought the Sansa 250 just to keep my favorite music nearby.  It is easy to load up, the shuffle function is great, and you can set up different playlists for your mood at the time, so I can shift from 80's...

I would buy another Sansa MP3 player in a heartbeat.  When I clean I usually have it on and while cleaning bathroom I have dropped in toilet twice and it still works...I have also dropped on floor numerous times.  I have had it about 2 years now and only problem it has after what I have put it thru is back button doesn't work really good, you have to hit in certain spot to work. The headphones aren't the greatest but headphones are pretty cheap.  But for the price you really can't go wrong.  The IPod 's are so expensive and

I think they are really hard to download to.  The sansa is so easy...

When I decided to get an MP3 player last year, it seemed like the perfect solution to a problem I was having - I love music, but dragging a bunch of CDs with me wasn't practical.

I wanted an iPod, but couldn't afford it, so I researched alternatives.  I picked the Sansa C250 for two reasons.

First, of course, was the price.  At $79, it was much more affordable than the iPod, if not quit as stylish.

The second reason was the ratings I found from other people who already owned one.  The only major complaint I saw was that it occassionally freezes up (I've had mine for a year and haven't had this...

sandisk mp3 player is really nice.  It holds pictures, you can listen to the radio, and record from the radio too.  The only thing I don't like about it is Rhapsody.  If you buy this player don't get rhapsody!!  I signed up for a  30 day trial offer  and they charged my credit card two days later!    Customer service stinks!!  After I canceled my subscription they charged my account AGAIN!  I called them up again and they had no record of a charge!   I had to call up my credit card company and get a new number.  Sandisk is good, but hooking up with Rhapsody was a big mistake.  They...

This is a great little player.  Bought it for my 15 yr. old for his birthday, wanted to see how responsible he would be with this before purchasing something a lot more expensive.  So far so good.  He loves it!  It's easy to use, drag and drop technology.  It has a great sound, no external speaker though.  FM radio is nice, holds approx. 500 songs or photos.  Very small.   Was a little confused as to how it was charged.  Called customer service and they were very helpful, just plug the USB port into your PC and there you go.  Rhapsody is a joke, was supposed to have gotten 30 days free... read full review »

This sansa is just right for me.  I just recieved it a week ago.  I have a rapsody subscription and needed a sansa for to go music.  It was easy to set up. The instructions were easy to follow and I already have it full of music.  The sound is good, it is easy to use and carry, I also bought extra memory for it just in case.  Of course now that I have the sansa, I want all of the accessories for it.  This sansa or one with more gb's would be a great christmas gift for Him, Her or teens.

I have had my Sansa c250 MP3 player for two years now.  I absolutely love it!  It's small enough to carry in my pocketbook wherever I go.  The slot for an expansion card is great.  It's easy to use and download songs on.   I would highly recommend this to anyone not wanting to pay those high prices for an iPod.  The Rhapsody service that came with mine is $14.99 a month for unlimited downloading of songs.  A really great deal in my book.
