great cheap player with tons of features

Pros

    dedicated volume buttons, Small, easy access to lithium battery, 30day code for napster to go (100%free?), easy to work, Cheaper than an ipod, clear sound, expandable micro sd card, comes with nice ear buds, lots of compatible aftermarket add-ons

Cons
    doesn't have a built in speaker, limited file format support, no delete option 4 voice/radio recording, colored screen with no video, mediocre color screen, includes lanyard instead of a clip, inadequate bass

SanDisk - Sansa c250 2GB MP3 Players — 

One of the greatest feature filled, flash based, bargain priced players out there in the market today(imo). Navigating through menus/options is easy to do but not "ipod perfect". This player has almost everything other higher priced players offer in a smaller form(expandable sd card, fm tuner, fm recording, voice recording, 2 gb internal memory)
Sound was clear although i think it lacks an "ommph" in tunes with low bass and correcting it by changing its headphones to high end ones and/or adjusting equalizer settings didnt help(i havent tried it on desktop/bookshelf speakers yet). Despite the cheap price, it doesnt show on its included headphones and the headphone itself. Its trendy and flashy although the glossy faceplate frequently attracts finegrprints.
Screen, despite being in color, is mediocre. Though its not a deal breaker, its not suitable for viewing photos. Like a computer lcd screen with low refresh rate that results to ghosting. For a player its size, fm reception is impressive as i had no problem tuning to stations with naturally high signals. FM recording(depends on the station, and naturally has "hissing on the background) and voice recording are also clear though i wish it had more options on "how, when" to record. Unfortunately there's no way to delete your stored FM recordings and Voice recordings by the player itself(u could using its PC software). I havent used an micro sd card on it just yet so i coudlnt comment on its load up time.
Overall this one is a great starter player and a bag of chips. I wish they would make an option to delete recordings on a firmware update if thats possible. Did i forget to mention it has limited format support especially "lossless formats" which is almost the sole reason i didnt give this product a "outstanding" rating.
