SanDisk - Sansa View MP3 Player —
I've owned a Sandisk Sansa for a couple years now and it has always performed really well. The Sansa has all the features you would need...You can sort music by song title or artist. There's shuffle mode and playlist mode. I have rarely used the video option but when I have, it looks great. I like that there is an am/fm tuner on it, as well. That's a feature missing on other popular music players. My only problem has been that the earbuds went bad after about a year but they were easily replaceable. The battery life has been excellent and I hardly have to charge it (I listen to it while on public transportation going to work -approx 30 minutes- and charge it maybe every other week). Overall, it is a great mp3 player.
