A lot of BANG for the price!

budget conscious, comfortable with technology, computer geek, impressed with this product, practical

When I bought my laptop it had a slot for a memory stick but would not accept an SD card, in fact none of the laptops had them when I bought mine. So to solve this little problem I bought the Sandisk 12 in 1 USB Card Reader for $24 at Walmart. I am not a computer expert but I will try to explain how it works without using big fancy words...lol (Redneck speak)

How it Works

SanDisk always makes good products. This one is no exception. Works straight out of the box with no hassles or issues. After trying 2 other similar products (off-brand and store-brand) which didn't work well (1 didn't work at all) I was extremely pleased to find a SanDisk memory card reader that was affordable and of high quality.

It's a card reader, it does what it should

SanDisk (SDDR-89-A15) Card Reader works exactly as advertised. It is a card reader and it does just that. I've used it with a CF card and an SD card and both had reliable and fast transfer speeds.

We bought this SanDisk SDDR-89 ImageMate 4-card reader several years ago, and it is still working great. We use it daily to download digital photos from our camera to the computer, and we've never had a problem with it. In addition, it has been dropped and "kicked around" on my desk for years, and subject to all sorts of abuse from cats & dogs, too! (Note: We've only used one of the four card slots, as all the digital cameras we've had have used the same size card). We are Very pleased with this product and definitely recommend it. We've gone thru 3 cameras, but still have this same card...
