I have enjoyed havng the Metro PCS plans and as for a family plan nothing has beat it. But I would like to upgrade my phone. The phone doesn't seem to do all the things that I would like it to, and the frame is little. However, I will say if you are one hand texter like myself it is perfect for that.

I have had my Samsung Messager Touch slide phone for about a month now, and I love it! I had a razor, and it stopped working, so off I went in search of a cheap new cell, and one that I could actually text fast on. The store was having a sale on the Samsung Messager Touch phones, in a BOGO offer with rebates. After hearing the sales person talk about it, and seeing how easy it is to use, I bought both. One for me and the other for my 11 year old daughter. I like that it has a slide out keyboard for super easy texting, and the camera and video is a great pluss too. The camera is very easy to figure out, just hold the phone like you would any small camera, and click away. The pictures are pretty good as well. I also am loving the touch features, fast and easy. If you have a card in the phone like my daughter has, you can download music and use your phone as an MP3 player. You can also save the pics to the card so you can post them online. This is a great phone for the price, I got 2 phones for 59.00!

My wife and I both took advantage of and upgrade offer presented by Alltel to purchase new discounted Samsung Messager's.  We were upgrading from 5 year old LG flip phones so the change was pretty dramatic.  We have both started to use text messaging more often and had become quite frustrated with composing anything over two words using the standard number pad.   We also did not want to be forced into a data plan just to have access to a QWERTY keypad.  The Messager seemed to fit the bill with its slide out keyboard and classification as a "feature phone" rather than a "smart phone".   Both my wife and I have used Apple's Ipod touch so our standards regarding touch technology are relatively high.  We both have little complaint about the accuracy and responsiveness of the touch sensitive displays.  They are no Iphone, but completely usable with little frustration -and the hardware keyboard beats the pants off on screen emulators.  Being the type of guy who keeps his cell phone in his jean's pocket I also appreciated that the phones dimensions were almost identical to my previous LG flip phone.  Sound quality is very good and battery life seems to be at least average.  Furthermore, I like the fact the micro-usb port allows me to use a variety of charging methods (Laptop/wall adapter/PC /etc).

Metro PCS not only puts out variety of phone their service is very good too! Paying one price a month for unlimited is great because you don't have to worry about using up minutes. Text is also unlimited and same as talk time you never have to worry about using up minutes. They are a great company in solving problems and service!

I purchased my Samsung slider phone about a year ago. This phone is the best phone I have ever purchased. After a year, there is hardly any wear on the phone. Even when you look up close it's hard to find where the wear is. Also, I have dropped this phone about a million times. No joke. This phone shows one single ding in the corner of the phone. No scratches on the screen. No breaks on the screen. The battery stays charged for quite a long time. I have to charge it about every two days for normal usage. However, if I choose to use my internet access or texting features more frequently than average, the battery does drain due to the backlight being on. I bought this phone in a cute purple color around Valentine's Day 2008. It was a special Valentine's Day promotional color. This phone has bluetooth capability although I only used it a few times. It just seems awkward for me to wear that thing on my ear. Games are downloadable of course. But what I really love is the fact that this phone has so many additional features. It has a tip calculator, which I always need otherwise I'm either giving too much or too little. It has a generic calculator, which I use while grocery shopping in these tough times. It has a stop watch, which came in handy for a training assignment I had at work. There's a memo pad, which I use when paper isn't handy. It also has a converter for measurement or currency. The camera on this phone is generic. It takes the picture and that's all you really need I suppose. I love this phone. It's the best I've ever had.

Metro pcs is a great if your in the area where it works! its not for truck drivers or someone that travels alot because it will not work! I have 4 lines and I couldnt ask for anything more...I perfer it over my old t-mobile any day. unless I move out of the area then I would have to choose a different phone carrier, I think that metro pcs will be growing larger so until then,,,God bless!

**The Samsung Cricket Messager phone is an awesome phone to own,it has an easy to use quertty keyboard that makes it very easy to type messages.It is a slider phone that has camera,calender,alarm and many great things to numerous to mention.Crickets prices for the phones are good especially if you get this one online.The messager phone has different ringers and wallpapers to buy for the phone but it also has some pretty nice ones already pre-loaded on it,also this phone keeps its charge for a long time even overnight.you can send and recieve messages both picture and regular,the camera takes very nice pictures that you can save on a memory card to put them on your computer.you can hear crystal clear when you are talking to people,it is one of the easiest phones to use and is very nice to own.I use the alarm clock feature instead of using a clock because it is loud enough to wake up anyone.the calender is a nice thing to have,because you can put reminders for certain things like birthdays and anniversaries and meetings.**
