The Samsung Instinct is a good alternative on the Sprint network. I like the voice activation and use it to locate places all the time. It makes it easy to GPS a location. The TV feature is good to keep the kids busy when we are out and they get bored, but the battery life is not as good as I would like. It does come with an extra battery with a portable charger. It would be nice if there were more apps available like a regular PDA. It has automatic links for My Space, Facebook and You Tube. I can get news and weather in real time and can keep track of local movie theatres and their listings. The web browser has two settings for regular viewing and compact viewing. You can set up favorites and put them in the order you want them. There is a quick search feature in your contacts with a slide alphabet and a speed dial list for your frequent contacts. There is no feature to block unwanted calls but it does let you know who is calling visually and verbally. Not an I-Phone but all in all a good lightweight phone.
