Samsung - WB5000 Digital Camera Review

If you want a camera that does everything it says it will then, the Samsung WB5000 is the camera for you. No it is not the small compact camera you can hide in your hand, it is not to big to take with you on trips or family outings.  Very light weight.  My Samsung takes excellent pictures.  It actually has 24x zoom and 12.5 mega pixels stills  it has ISO 6400 sensitivity, it shsoots 720p HD videos.  I can watch the videos on my tv, I can upload the stills on my computer, even my 12 year old granddaughter can use my camera with no help.  When my children bought this camera for me for my birthday, I thought WOW how am I going to learn how to use that thing when I have problems figuring out how to use my cell phone.  Well, since both my children have the same camera, it did not take them but a few minutes to teach me how to use it.  I know that may sound silly, but my niece recently purchased a new one similar to mine (different brand name) and still doesn't know how to use it correctly.  I am an artist and I was always out taking pictures, since I didn't have a camera I was buying the $5 and $6 dollar desposable camera, they take pretty good pictures, good enough for me to get kind of an idea for a painting.  But now with my Samsung, that's a different story.  I still paint, but now I am also taking photography classes and have enter a few of my photos in Art shows.  I always take pictures of my painting for a portfolio and some didn't turn out so good with the disposable cameras but now with my Samsung the pictures are great, I have even blown some of them up and framed and sold copies.  I doesn't bother me to carry a larger camera, most people like the small compact cute cameras but mine does the job and I take it with me every where, you never know what may pop up that you want to snap a shot of.  All around great camera.
