Samsung - Vibration Reduction Technology Washer Review

When my washer died I had no idea where to look for it's replacement. I knew I wanted a dependable product that was energy efficient. After much searching we finally decided to purchase the Samsung VRT Steam WF448AAP. I LOVE IT!!! The first day that I used it I actually took my cup of coffee and sat in front of it to watch it "do it's thing". It's hard to believe that a product that so gently rolls the laundry through the water can clean everything so well. The cycle is a reasonable length and the clothes come out extremely water free. They actually just feel damp. And quiet! It's unbelievable. You don't even know the washer is in use!

I love the extremely large size of the tub too. I recently washed my thickly quilted queen size comforter with no problem at all. It's great to be able to reduce the number of loads that I have to do each week. The only negative I've encountered is that I'm having to adjust to not spot treating stains as heavily. It's a habit that is tough to break but I'm getting better as I see how effectively the clothes are cleaned without it.

We chose not to purchase the pedestal base and am so glad we didn't. We previously had a top load machine and it's a bit of an adjustment to use a front load, you actually are bending at the same level as you always were for the dryer and since the clothes are so well spun, they aren't as heavy to move from one machine to the other. I highly recommend the Samsung front load washer to everyone and save yourself some money by not purchasing the pedestal (they also have an attachment mechanism you can purchase very inexpensively so that you can stack these full size washers and dryers).
