My cell phone provider is Tracfone, so the selection of phones available is limited.  Previously, I had a Motorola unit and was not too pleased with it.  This time, I opted for the Samsung T301G.  This is a very basic cell phone.  If all you need to do is make phone calls, this phone will do the trick. Things I like about the phone: - Compact size and slider design - Easy to read display and menus - Sound quality on both calls and pre-recorded greeting is very good Things I do not like about the phone:  Although you can adjust the ring volume up to a level of 7, I still have a hard time hearing the phone when it rings.  If I have the phone in my hand, I can hear it ring.  But, if it is in my purse, It is not loud enough for me to hear. Overall, I like Tracfone, because it is inexpensive and I do not need a Smart Phone.  And this phone has a decent camera, text messaging, and internet capabilities.  I just wish the ring volume was louder.
