Samsung is a late comer to the computer display ball but they offer a suite of monitors that can dance with the big names. One of those units is the Samsung 226BW 22” LCD Monitor. Our community of reviewers has nothing but high praise for this 22” wide-screen darling of a display, with one reviewer proclaiming “Unbelievable LCD for the money. Large 22" screen with very vivid colors, crisp text and no ghosting. Great for gaming, watching movies, or anything else,” while another stated that “it is an excellent value for the price, and offers several features that aren't found very often until you hit a higher price point.” Samsung equipped the 226BW Wide Screen LCD digital and analog (DVI/VGA) connectivity, and has a maximum resolution of 1,680 x 1,050 pixels as well as a 160 degree viewing area. Great monitor for the price

Unbelievable LCD for the money. Large 22" screen with very vivid colors, crisp text and no ghosting. Great for gaming, watching movies or anything else. The magic bright controls are nice preset levels for various uses. From a purely asthetic viewpoint, the monitor housing is very stylish in gloss black with a silver accent along the bottom.

My only complaint is that there is no height adjustment on the stand; this will be corrected by and LCD deskmount arm.

Don't hesitate to buy this monitor if you're in the market for a larger LCD screen.

We purchased two of the Samsung Syncmaster monitors because we needed to add space in our computer room. The old monitors just took up too much room. We have a LOT of computer equipment and we shopped around for the best vale. These monitor defineatly fit the bill. We are very happy with our purchases.
