My business recently purchased a few of these samsung monitors because we were still using the older boxy monitors and felt we needed to upgrade to something more up to date. I was hesitant at first when looking at pictures that these may take up alot of space on our desktops, however, they actually take up less space than our older monitors that we were using before. The screens project a nice resolution and I am able to use this product with ease. It was easy to hook up and I've had no trouble with any of the monitors we have purchased. I like that it makes my office look a little more up to date and as I said before with the extra space I am able to have more objects and paperwork on my desk now. I definitely like the overall look of the monitors and I was able to pick them up myself to move around which is a huge plus. We got a decent deal on purchasing them and I am pretty happy we made the decision.

When viewing fast-moving content, there is no visible streaking or fragments due to any lagging response time. The Samsung SyncMaster 2233SW features a 5 millisecond response time, which means the pixels are able to quickly refresh to display moving objects with clear edges. Gaming also looks very good on this monitor, even fast-moving 3D games. The monitor has a really nice Excellent sleek design with Full HD (1080) resolution. It's great for it's Excellent image. What the best part i liked was the quality. The bad part was that they dont have hdmi imputs. What was shocking to me because all monitors should. What was also bad was that you cant really adjust the sceen much. The worst part was the price. I can exspect it from samsung. They are one of the best electronics out there. But for a screen that doesnt have hdmi they should put it a bit cheaper. A waste of a monitor.

I have had this moniter for about a year now and I use it every single day for multiple hours. there has been no reduction in the quality of the picture or brightness for the entire time i have used it. I have used it as an extended desktop screen and as a primary screen - transition is smooth as it allows dual connections in the rear, so switching between 2 connected computers was just a click of a button. the screen remained relatively dust free and i never had to perform and major cleaning or repair on this device. Bottom line - connect it, and it works just as you want it to, and produces the best picture quality, for which Samsung is well known. Cannot go wrong with this product.

I must say I am not familiar with these kind of stuff. I read many reviews before I wanted to buy a monitor for my laptop , and my friends gave me some advice, helped me choose one, then in the end I bought Samsung Monitor. this monitor has been working so so so great, it never bring me any problems, the monitor is still bright and clear. and it's wide enough that it can display two full windows side by side ,that's amazing when I found this function. Now my father uses it bacause I got another one as a gift from my husband, my father didn't know how to use a computer, so he learned to use, and he told me that he really wanted to buy a new bigger monitor instead of this old one, but this old one is still works great, so he couldn't buy, that's funny.

I've had this monitor for two months .This is a very nice monitor with high quality features. I've had this monitor for a couple months now and I am extremely pleased with the wide screen that this monitor has. This monitor has a 21.5 inch viewing. It also has 1080 full high definition resolution which means that I am able to see more applications at one time. The picture is extremely clear. The colors contrast is brilliant and bright. I can also open multiple applications and set them side-by-side and when viewing pictures and video I am able to see more of the picture using this 21.5 Samsung high-definition widescreen monitor. This monitor is stylish with a shiny black polished frame. It is slim which allows you to have more room on your desktop. The monitor sits on a polished black glass stand. It also tilts backwards and forwards for easy viewing. The function buttons are located on the side of the monitor. The monitor is very durable and sturdy. Samsung always makes the best, most reliable, clearest picture, flatest screen monitors around. This is a very nice monitor with high quality features.

The Samsung SyncMaster 21" Monitor is sllck slim design speakes for itself on or off. Its slim design makes it very easy to place on a small desk or counter space. It is elegant looking as well. The quality of the picture is otustanding. I love that I can choose to hook up my cable to it to watch television as well. The sound that comes from this monitor is pretty good. I love its easy push funtions to set picture controls along with its easy to find volume controls, and on and off button. This monitors hdtv quality gives a crisp view while surfing the web, doing research, school work, pesonal use, or even watching a dvd movie. Its wide screen makes it easy to operate with two windows open at the same time for your viewing area. I also got great responses from family and friends about the monitor's look and performance, they wanted one and asked me where I got it and how much it cost. The cost was affordle! Samsungs monitors along with their other electronic goods are a quality brand maker and they stand up to their performances. I would recommend this monitor to anyone for its quality along with its price.

This Monitor is so excellent it is even better than my television screen. I use it so i can play my xbox 360 on it. Even though this is a computer screen you can use a vga monitor for it so it is better.Not only can i use this as my xbox but it works as well for my computer. It goes up to 1980 x 1020. The price of this screen is very cheap. It is alot better than the Acer monitors. When i called the company up because it had great customer service. When i set up this monitor it was really easy. It was not hard at all , it just took 5 minutes. When i turned it on the screen was so clear and the picture was really clear. The only problem for this is that there was no HDMI Connection. I was really disapointed with it because my computer had hdmi connection so i was waiting with my hdmi cable to connect it together. But it didnt have an hdmi connection so i was sad. But the vga cable is just as good as the hdmi cable.

I switched from a reasonably nice Dell monitor and an average Acer Monitor to two Samsung 2233SW's for my home computer, and the difference is downright amazing.  The images are considerably sharper than both of my older one (especially the Acer) and the video quality (DVI) is beautiful, with beautiful colors and crisp, sharp images.  The 16:9 aspect ratio is great for watching TV or movies off the monitors and the high-resolution (1920x1080) is great as well.  The viewing angles are much better than either of my older monitors and the price for this was a bargain compared to others of similar quality.  The sleek black appearance is also a bonus. My only knocks on the monitor is the monitor stand (feels a little less than sturdy) and the blinking blue light when the monitor is asleep.  I've had these 2 for over a year now with no problems on either, so the reliability there is a major plus.  Samsung is known for it's quality and the tradition continues with the 2233SW.

The large, clear screen is ideal for graphic designers.  We often spend several hours at a time on computer art programs creating masterpieces.  The clean, bright and colorful 21 inch span of the screen inspired me to start creating right away and I had only just birthed it from its outer packaging.   Assembly was a snap, literally.  I snapped in the stand to the base of the monitor and afterwards all I had to do was a few small screws and plug it in.  While working on the SyncMaster I feel totally immersed.  I don't have as eye-strain or headaches while using this larger screen (my previous monitor was only a 17 incher).  A few inches make a huge difference. After two years, I noticed that the monitor would blink on and off occasionally after turning on the computer.  After a few weeks it got worse and all though the strobe light effect was great for late night club dancing, it wasn't fun to stare at for computer use.  I've never had a problem with any Samsung product in the past.  Fortunately, Samsung included a three year warranty with this monitor.  I contacted their customer service department.  They were very apologetic and efficient.  They sent me a pre-paid UPS shipping label via e-mail and all I had to do was print the label and package up the monitor. * *Side note* Make sure you always keep your original box and paperwork for your electronics with warranties.  *I called for UPS pick up that day and less than fourteen days later my monitor was fixed and returned to me in perfect working order.  I couldn't believe how easy and stress free this process was.  I had to revert to my back-up 17 incher for the duration, but it was nice to realize how much my 21 incher had made such a huge difference in my life.  In conclusion, the Samsung SyncMaster 2233SW 21 inch monitor is a great companion to anyone with a personal computer and it's specifically ideal for anyone in graphic design.

I was looking for a decent sized monitor to attach to my desktop pc. I am a gamer and a decently sized monitor suits me. Upon installation, the problem i have encountered is it is a bit difficult to get the base attached to the monitor itself. The sockets are very tight and a little bit of brute pushing is needed to get it in. The instructions manual was no help either. It was full of diagrams without much description. I plugged it in to the wall, then I put it in the vga socket on my video card. Turned on the PC an voila, a nice bright glow greeted me. The picture is great and this monitor has a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of the normal 16:10. This makes it great not just for games but for watching movies or online tv shows. I have tried this with different movies and the quality is superb. It's a great monitor since it's decently priced. I just hope that its durability won't be a problem.
