Samsung - Sync a707 Cell Phone Review

I was pleased and surprised by this phone.  My previous cell phones from various providers do not match this one.  I have found that the more features that a phone has the quicker the battery wears out, it doesn't hold a charge and drops calls. 

My teenage son picked out this phone, then my husband and I both picked this phone because of the great price. 

The phone has 2mp camera that takes pretty good pictures for a camera phone.  We have been glad to have with us on occasion when we did not have a camera with us and wanted to capture something.  The phone also has a MP3 player so you can always have your music with you.  My son has a 1GB card in the extension slot adn he has no complaints.  The phone allows Internet access and texting which is must.  I am probably forgetting some features but is definitely worth it. 

Our phones are now over a year old and doing extremely well.  My husband's and son's phones have been dropped numerous times.  No problems except a few scratches.  External screen concerned me but is still intact and working on all three phones. 

My favorite feature of this phone is the long lasting battery.  I leave my phone on at all times, even when charging. I usually get about three to four days before I need to charge.  I use 5-7 times a day at least.  

One of the most amazing things that have happened to this phone is that it survived sitting in a wet washer overnight.  I found my husband's phone in his pants pocket.  The pants had been sitting in the washer wet for several hours.  I had no hope for the phone.  We immediately took out the battery and card and laid the three pieces out to dry.  I let it sit a full week before attempting to put the battery back in.  It did not work.  I took everything apart again and left for another week.  This time the phone turned on.  We had a little moisture in the front screen for another week or so but now absolutely no problems.  It is amazing.  I realize that this may not be an average occurrence but it definitely sold me on this great featured phone.
