I did a lot of research on washers and dryers when we moved and had to replace our old ones. The Samsung models came out at the top of the heap in comparison to several other brands. I really like the fact that this dryer gets the job done in way less time than my old dryer. And the wrinkle care cycle lets me put clothes in that are wrinkled (like when they've been smashed in our overstuffed closet for too long) and they come out looking fresh and ready to wear. I absolutely love my Samsung Steam Dryer DV448AEP! I purchased it a few months ago along with the matching washer. Laundry day has never been shorter or easier! The tub holds a lot of clothes so that I can dry in fewer loads and it's very quiet. I've been very impressed with how wrinkle free all the items come out. The timing system adjusts to let you know when things are dry so that they're not "overbaked". It couldn't be easier.

We chose not to purchase the pedestal base and I've so glad we did. The door is no lower than your typical front load dryer and the opening is large enough for you...

The samsung steam dryer is an awesome unit. I have owned this item now for about 4 months and I would not trade it for anything.It has great features, such as the steam dry. If I need to dry an article of clothing in a short amount of time it allows me to do so. I would highly suggest this dryer to anyone who is looking to buy a new one.
