Call quality has always been good, the phone is easy to slip into a purse or back pocket, and it still works despite all my clumsiness (dropping the phone frequently, etc.)
As such, I am very satisfied! Next step would be upgrading to a Blackberry, but this will suffice... review »

My only complaints are that the keypad backlight goes out during calls, including voicemail. That makes it hard to input your password at night!
Also, the phone doesn't have flexible memory: I could have 2G of memory on the SD card available but if my application memory is nearing full, I can't download ringtones or get games.
This phone is awesome with its dual flip design and QWERTY keyboard. I love the size and feel of the buttons too.
The Alias is a great phone. I started off with an lg phone and was only set on lg phones. That broke once and i had to get a new one so I chose the lg sguare one that flips open and it was terrible. So a couple weeks later i went back and exchanged it for th alias. At first i wasn't sure about it and how small the keys were but my friends had it and liked it so i stuck with it. Within a week or so i got used to the phone and it was amazing. I like how you can talk like a normal phone but then open up and text so easily. Also it is very durable and doesnt break compared to those other touch screens...

i like my phone. it works good and i never had any problems with it so far. i wish my husband would of got one of these phones. it is a sch-u740 samsung and it has alot if features with it.i would suggest this phone to anybody.trust me you would like it very much.it opens two different ways. it opens side ways so it is easy to text people and it opens the right way so you can talk on it without people hearing your conversations.you can text faster with opening it side ways.in order to use some features you have to open it side ways.there is alot of cool things you can do with this phone.the only...

I bought it because of the full QWERTY keypad and its dual-flip capability - but I've come to really depend on it for more than just texting! It's great for keeping reminders, playing games and taking impromptu video clips (just keep 'em short!).
Can't say I'm too excited about the camera - but it does okay in outdoor/bright light situations. Again, good in a pinch when you don't have your regular camera about.

When I first read about this device I was skeptic. Excited, but skeptic. I sunk my money in, and have not been disappointed.
The phone employs Verizon Wireless's Unified Interface but adds a nice "skin" or theme to make it look flashy. The menu is presented logically.
The phone also has a memory slot that can hold up to a 2 gigabyte MicroSD card to store pictures and music that can be loaded using a pc and the music essentials kit.

So after I got it I bought a 2GB memory card online for $15.00. Now I have a ton of music on it, and I even put some cartoon movies on it for my 2 year old to watch in the car or while we're waiting at a restaurant.

I have had this phone for over a year now and am still happy with it.
When I was renewing my contract, I looked at lots of other phones. But when I saw that this one had the 2 way opening feature, I decided on it.
It does have very small buttons, but because my fingers are small, that is not a problem for me. But it would be for others with bigger hands and fingers.
I have the gold one and like the way it sparkles in the light - very cool!
Overall, very good product. In my experience, Samsung is a good name in cell phones and other electronics.
