Samsung - SCH-u540 Cell Phone — 

This phone looke great and feels great.  However, the sound quality from the ear piece speaker is very poor.  My own wife and friends sound very different to me through this phone.  My wife got the same phone in our family package and she agrees about the sound quality.  We're taking the phones back to the store.  My last phone was a Samsung that sounded great but this U540 pales in comparence.

I just brought home a 540 and I wish I had researched cell phones before going to Verizon. I had tried a chocolate but I did not like a slider phone. I ended up bringing this home to try out. I want a good speaker phone and all the reviews have been a big thumbs down on this aspect of the phone. I do not know what to do....confused and perplexed. I have trouble with my vision and so many phones had terrible keybads where the numbers can barely be seen. Without glasses no phone calls could be made. This whole ordeal has become a cell phone nightmare. Maybe I should take it back. ????
