I bough this for my son who wanteda easy point and shoot camera. but is does so much more.

Normal Digital Cameras take low resolution video, but this Camera takes near DVD quality Video. The resolution is actually higher than a regular DVD. It's 800x592 and it's captured in AVI format. You can pause the recording instead of starting a new video it resumes recording from where you paused! It was not high definition but it sure wasn't bad coming from a little small camera.

The shutter delay on Auto mode is pretty slow, because it is trying to focus it so you can have the best quality pictures. However,...

Really nice and awesome. It is something that a technically challenged person might use. I really have no background or affinity for technology, yet I used it. What I mean by using it is that I actually was able to upload pictures, edit them, and even make them into real photos.
