samsung rant cell phone is the upgraded phone that's finally worth its price.
l chose this phone because it has a keyboard that is very easy to use and when i read the reviews from ebay and amazon and sprint webpage, i decided this was the phone for my busy lifestyle. i was hoping it would completely replace my phone and pda, but that is not going to happen. it is just not set up to carry pda functions, it does have some capabitites, but not all. still a fun phone to have.

I was a little hestitant when I purchased the RED RANT; however, the product has lived up to my expectations. I can text, forward mail, voice record etc... the product is good. I haven't experienced one drop call as of yet.
The product is very sleek and stylish. The only thing that I don't like is that the phone qwerty board is so small and very difficult to navigate the keys. I hate when I have to keep flipping the qwerty open to manuever through the menu. I wish there was a better way to manage your contacts and working through the menu from the front.

Sprint's Samsung Rant is a great phone, with a few minor problems with it. I love the fact that it has a full QWERTY keyboard, and it is easy to use. The camera is relatively good, but it doesn't have the option to zoom in like other phones. This phone also has a great battery life, it lasts all day, and charges rather quickly. The sound quality is great, and you're not constantly adjusting the volume to hear the caller.

Have dropped it a few times and still hasn't broken. The Samsung Rant feels good and is slim enough not to be too bulky. I also noticed that it isn't quite like a smartphone but can do tasks on a smaller scale - like internet surfing (although it loads slowly).
Also you should have at least the unlimited data plan since the phone sends/receives data on its own unless you lock the data. If you don't notice it right away, you could incur expensive charges... review »
I've realy come to love my Samsung M540 Rant. The QWERTY keyboard is quick and easy. I love the mp3 player also.
