Samsung - Rant Cell Phone Reviews

Outside of a freeze or two, this rant by samsung is worth a go. You don't have to be computer literate to navigate this phone. The full key board makes it easy to text.  The best part is you can recieve texts and respond to texts while you're on the phone talking to someone else. SO COOL!

Saftey lock is annoying, and freezes the screen when buttons are pressed while in this mode. Other than that I don't see any other issues.

I have forever been wanting a quality top of the line phone, and finally I found it!

The Samsing Rant is my favorite phone right now, I recently got this (Free with upgrade/new contract/and online discount!) and I use it nonstop.

I'm a big texter, so I needed a phone that is really good with texting. I didn't like when phones took forever to register the letters I pressed. This phone registers the letters immediately on both the keypad and QWERTY keyboard.

The QWERTY is very nice, has enough space in between the keys to prevent typos and is very easy to get used to.

I love the keyboard on this phone.  I can text a mile a minute with it.  My drawback with this phone unfortunately is the Sprint coverage in my area.  I had a Nextel phone which worked just fine where I reside but since we do not use the walkie talkie feature anymore we decided to go with Sprint phones since we were satisfied with the Sprint/Nextel company. (Been with Nextel for over 9 years) I did not know that going from analog to digital would cost me so much valuable.  I do not get my messages with my rant until 2:00 am in the morning.   A lot of good when the school called at 1:30 for...

The Samsung Rant was the phone I have been waiting for for a very long time I have always wanted a purple phone and at best buy only you could get this phone in purple. I also wanted a phone with the keyboard and I was so happy to find both those things in one. I was looking for an update to my almost 2-year old LG Fusiq phone. After looking to keep with the LG brand and go with LG sliding phone with the qwerty keyboard, I noticed Sprint had a Samsumg version, the Rant. It is a great phone. The sliding side of it is awesome and it makes texting and typing emails SO easy! The phone comes with all the other features that most phones have... web/email access, camera, etc. The phone comes in 3 different colors, black, red and purple. I love this phone and the options it can give me. I can watch TV if I choose, text, IM, Search the web, twitter on the go, listen to my mp3 music, take pictures and upload on the go. Email or send a video msg. I love having a purple phone, that was offered through Best Buy. From Sprint you can only get this phone in Black or Red. I like having a slide out qwerty keyboard as well. It makes txting a ton easier. I would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a cool phone. My husband liked mine so much we got him the black version.

I have the Sanmsung Rant phone from Sprint.  This phone is great!  It has tons of cool features, and is easy to use.  My favorite feature is probably the slide-out keyboard which makes texting so much easier and faster!  Here are some of the other features I like about this phone:

1. It takes decent pictures and video which can both be sent to email addresses or other phones through Sprint's picture mail.  I like this because with three kids I don't always remember my camera, and this way I can still get decent photos/videos and send them to my email, then save to my computer.

When I first got my Samgsung Rant, I loved it. I thought it was cool to have a full qwerty keyboard for texting. Then, as time went on, I began to realize things about the phone that I absolutely couldn't stand. For one, the display blacks out, so you can't leave the display on. There's no setting for that. The little red blinking light can come in handy, as it's the only way to really know if you have a message or missed call until you actually open the phone's keyboard or hit a button. I was initially drawn to the Rant because I disliked the hand cramp you get with a flip phone as opposed to the QWERTY keyboard. I also chose this one because I don't think you should have to pay that much for a phone when a company is already charging you loads for their service. In addition, before I got the Rant I had an old Samsung brand flip phone that I never had any problems with, so I was hoping that another Samsung product would be a good choice. I have had this Purple Samsung Rant for maybe a year or so. It is just an ok phone. I think that the picture quality is horrible. I can't take a decent picture to save my life, plus at one point I could get the camera to zoom in but it only did that a couple of times and will not do it at all now. On my old phone I had many many pictures, but on this one I have like three cuz I just don't use the camera. OMg. I had purchased the samsung rant last year in december. That phone is oc fun. Has a music player that can hold all you favorite songs. Its a very nice personal phone. It also has a qwerty keyboard. Its so awesom. You can watch tv, play game, I.M., and search the web. You dowload finances, horoscopes, and weather on to your home page. E-mail is very convient also. The internet is not too slow either. plus you phone comes with a card where you can dowload music onto. I love this phone alot and i would recomend it to anybody...i men aybody. even if you arent a texter you would love this phone....

I have the purple rant my children also have the rant . they seem to really like it  for the texting . I like the slide  part to text on much easier than using the main front.  I would have liked it to have speaker phone on it . Also would like a zoom on the camera part.I personally would not want it any smaller for me because i would not be able to see the key board. Basically it is a nice phone for what i use it for . I do not play games on the phone although when you arfe waiting for the kids to get out of practice that would be nice. On this phone the games are only trials. I do not think...
