Will not play DVD's that I have scanned from computer

I am reviewing a Samsung DVD Player and it is only about 4 years old and it will not play the DVD's that I make from my computer. Also, sometimes it acts like it is dirty and skips when movies/songs are playing and when I go to clean it with a DVD cleaning kit it does not reconize the cleaning disk so I am sure that it is not getting cleaned.

Review inappropriate? Copyright violation?

I have a Samsung DVD/VCR player that I've owned for around 3years which frequently will not play newer DVDs...usually ones I rent from NetFlix. I believe it's a manufacturer's default!
