A WP7 phone for Windows fans
This new smartphone Samsung Omnia 7 runs on Windows Phone 7. The hardware of this phone might not be the best, but it definitely has a good display. This is because the display is a Super AMOLED with 1,670 color and a resolution of 480 x 800. Its quality is comparable to iPhone 4's retina display. Speedwise, this phone uses 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Chip which offers smooth operation. It has a 5MP camera with LED flash light. You have a wide selection of setting in the camera, for example, white balance, color saturation, ISO, Metering, EV and anti-shaking function. Users can also record 720p video with it. However, the frame rate is limited to 25FPS. As for the user interface, it is a direct copy of WP7 design and is not customized by Samsung. The desktop is consisted of Live Tiles. The major drawback of ths phone is that it only has 8 GB of internal memory and does not have a microSD slot.
