Being the prudent shopper, I spent several months researching tv's. I was constantly reading others reviews and weighing the differences between plasma and lcd... 1080 and 720 and of course, cost comparison. I was driving myself crazy. So, on New Years Eve the decision was practically made for us... we found this fabulous samsung with an "open box" price at circuit city. The picture is absoutely beautiful and the size is perfect for our living room. The first football game we watched was AWESOME. I couldn't justify spending the extra $1000 for a 1080p when comparing this 720p, I saw no difference in the picture. I couldn't be happier. Open box rocks!!
