I recently purchased the Samsung Gravity for T-Mobile service only a few months ago. My previous phone (not a Samsung) had the worst battery life and would always randomly shut on and off as well as never charged properly. Even after replacing the phone, it was still a nightmare. The Gravity is nice and light weight and my battery life lasts forever. It was deceiving at first when I read other reviews stating it always only showed one bar of battery power but this is because fully charged is 6 bars of battery but they just diminish quickly. The actual battery lasts forever but only shows that you have one bar of battery. There is a qwerty keyboard which slides on this slider phone that makes it easier for those that like using that form of texting. It takes videos and pictures and in a fairly good quality but this phone is made for messaging, not for the camera. It also plays mp3s but in order to transfer any music directly from your computer, you would need to purchase the USB wire separately from a T Mobile store. I've never had any problems with the speakerphone and it is blue tooth capable but I never got into the whole blue tooth thing. If you're looking for a phone where you can easily text, send email, even IM, that has a great battery life and is very easy to carry around, this is the perfect phone for you! It's a slider, not a flip phone, so you do have to unlock it anytime you want to use it but this is safer so there's no "butt dialing".
