As with washers, we poured over hundreds of reviews and kept coming up with positives for Samsung.  Because of constant store screw-ups, we were "awarded" with newer Samsung W&D than we originally ordered (and depended upon the positive reviews for . . .  !).  We are definitely not disappointed! The dryer has options either for "smart," sensing of the dryness of clothes, thus reducing drying time (however, this is the only slight negative I would give this dryer:  it says that the clothes are dry, when they are still damp, so we often have to give it another round on "timed cycle" instead of "sensing" in order to get completely dry clothes -- this is essential, because too many times, I've put away slightly damp clothes and have had to throw them out because of the moldy smell that won't leave once it gets in).  It's quiet, seems to have some kind of self-balancing feature to reduce vibration even more, and very efficient (gas appliances are highly preferred, and this is one).  We're so pleased with Samsung from our washer and dryer that we bought two Samsung TVs as well.  What a wonderful, efficient company.  We're extremely pleased with the appliances efficiency and reasonably competitive prices.

I love this Samsung dryer. My older dryer took 4 hours to dry a load of clothes, so I decided it was time to buy a new one. I did a little research and knew what I was looking for but didn't know which brand to buy. I saw that the Samsung was on sale and just decided to go with it. I usually regret these decisions, but this was the best one ever! I love that I can put a whole giant load of clothes in and they don't take long to dry. Usually, I can have the whole loaded dried and folded before the washer is done. I love the music at the end. Also, if I leave the clothes in overnight and have to fluff them, this works excellent and you would never know I didn't fold the clothes right away. I love that! The only fault is that the moister sensing cycle can leave the clothes a little damp, especially sheets that get tangled up together. I have found that taking the sheets out and shaking them out then putting them back in on timed dry for 20 min always does the trick, though. Not a problem!

HUGE SPACE! Ok wow, I can load a ton in hear, I knew it was big but wow. I can for the first time throw comforters in or even like 10 towels at a time. I am sure I could do more. I think the best feature is no matter what you set it too, if your clothes dry, the sensor recognizes it and it will stop and chime. Yay! Saving energy and money. My husband says the only downside is I dry so much at a time that he can not tell apart the kid's socks because it all comes out in one load, ha ha. We literally get laundry done in half the time and it is no longer a whole day event. The best part is, it is so quite. I mean it! Ours is located near our master bedroom and we can not hear it al all. In fact, until it chimes we often forget we are doing laundry. I love how laundry no longer dictates my day! Thank you Sam-sung! My husband like the delayed wrinkle toss. So if you forget to take out the clothes it will toss it around every now and then to keep if from getting wrinkled. I have to admit, it is pretty cool of a feature. Makes him more lazy though. :)

I couldn't be happier with this dryer.  With my previous dryer, my clothes would sometimes be damp when the timer would go off.  Never had an issue with this one.  This dryer uses moisture sensing technology to measure the amount of moisture that is in the drum unit.  Once it meets a pre-prescribed level, it turns off.  One misleading thing about the unit due to the moisture sensing settings is that you could check the dryer & see that there is 20 minutes left in the cycle....return 25 minutes later & you may still have 10 minutes left.  This is due to the fact that it "sensed" that it was going to need an additional 15 minutes to dry the clothes that were in it.  A little annoying at first, but now I just wait to hear the timer go off before I venture over to remove the clothing.  One other nice thing about the dryer is the "shelf" insert that came with it.  During the winter, by kids were constantly coming home with soaking wet shoes & gloves.  Instead of delicately balancing them over the heat registers to dry & hearing them CLOMP around in our old dryer, we could insert the shelf, set the items on it, & have them dry in just a short little cycle.  No more going to school the next day with soggy shoes or gloves.

I'm sold on Samsung products!  This dryer, paired with the Samsung High Efficiency VRT washer, is a real hit!!  So easy to use and the results are amazing.  Clothes dry in a very short time and smell so clean and fresh.  Never that 'too hot dryer' smell!  Huge stainless steel tub holds a big load of laundry.  Has so many settings to get just the type of drying you need.  The Wrinkle Free setting is awesome for permanent press clothes.  I actually do not have to iron most of the shirts my husband has because they do come out wrinkle free!  Easy to clean lint filter is big and conveniently placed in the front of the dryer.  Large door makes it simple to get to clothes.  I'm so glad we made this purchase and you will be happy if you choose it, too!  I guarantee it!
