Poor performance over all........

By

from Santa Clara, CA

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

The phone itself looks very nice but that is about it. Now this is regarding the Freeform III. The reception is very spotty and mostly 0 - 2 bars but that may be Metro PCS. Battery life is pathetic.......I am charging it EVERY DAY. Some standard functions don't work mainly the picture ID.....not matter the pic and no matter the size it will not display the ID when ringing. Not very happy with this purchase at all.

Voice Quality
Voice goes in and out much of the time.

Battery Life
Battery life is pathetic and about the worse I have ever had with any phone I have owned. It is a must to have it on the charger on a daily basis. One phone call of 34 minutes drained the battery completely when it was almost completely full.

Great for price!

By

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

This is a great cell phone for the price. It of course looks similar to a blackberry, and although I have never owned a blackberry I can say that the features for this are great. The text messaging can be changed into a mode similar to an iphone where it looks like a chat, although it's not as easy to access as an iphone. The camera is a great quality, although I have not recorded any video yet and am unsure if it can take video? The web browser is one of the few things that bothers me about the phone, as it seems very dated and old, but for the most part I am enjoying the use of this phone. I like having a full qwerty keyboard as well, makes texting really easy, but it is a problem if I see a phone number like 1800-name-here, because I have to mentally think of which numbers goes with each letter. Overall this is a good phone.

Samsung Freeform is great for texting addicts!

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

My fiance purchased this for me a few months ago and I couldnt be happier with this phone.  It is great for text messaging.  The keyboard is small, yet not to small and makes it very easy to text and type.  I use the internet with my phone and was pleased to see that I can access a lot more sites then I could with my previous phones.  Where I got mine, they only come in 2 colors, gray and red.  I wish they had more colors.  And I would also invest in a nice silicone cover for your phone.  I have dropped my phone a few times and the cover keeps it safe and scratch free.  The camera has zoom on it and works great in day or night.  It also comes with software to download music and pics to your phone.  The charger turns into a convienat USB cable that you can either plug into your wall outlet or directly into the USB port into your computer.  I have no complaitns about this phone, and would recommend this to anyone

Its a phone.....

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

This is not the greatest phone, coming from samsung I thought it would be a better phone. I like the overall appearence of the phone, but would of liked it to have more functions. One of the better features is the music player. The battery seems to last alot longer than some of the other phones that I have had in the past. The fact that you can choose your ringtones from your micro SD card is a bonus since it does not download anything.  The camera is just okay, You cannot record videos or download them to your phone. Also there is no flash on the camera. You can access the web, but you are limited to what you can do on it,everything I go to says that it is unsupported content, not sure what that means. I like that it has the Qwerty board, Hopefully I will be able to get a new phone soon. I would recommend this type of phone to someone who doesnt use their cellphone often, but someone who likes to "update" their status or likes more of the media features on their phones then this isnt the one for you.

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

I bought this phone with high hopes. I had to return the first one for technical issues. Now I have the replacement phone and I am starting to have issues with it too. I have only had it for 6 months. It is an easy phone to use. I like the keyboard on it.

Samsung Freeform Cell great cell for the price!

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

We love the Samsung Freeform cell phone. We have one of those family plans from Alltel and had the opportunity to get these cells free with our plan! We wanted something we could use to text because our teenage daughter! Now I find myself texting more than calling lol. The phone is great! It is durable and stylish looking. Comes in couple different colors you can choose from teal or wine. It has the music, camera and video capabilities. Features full qwerty keyboard, calculator, calendar, voice memo, alarm clock. Other features like built in speakerphone for hands-free operation. We have had ours for about 7 months now and the battery life is still great. Has lasted longer than some of the previous cell phone in the past. It also has a lock for the keyboard so you don't dial someone accidentally lol. I use that feature all the time. We have been very pleased with Samsung Freeform so I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Samsung Freeform is a great phone for the text-aholic

By

from La Grange Park, IL

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

I originally bought the Samsung Freeform after my Motorola crush had a run in with liquid on springbreak. Even though the Freeform is a pretty basic phone, I really like the full QWERTY and the long battery life. It would be nice if it had video recording, but that is the only downside. I text a lot and even though I have large fingers, I have gotten used to the small buttons. After having a full QWERTY for the first time, I can't see myself not having one ever again. I am with USCC and this phone is also nice because it doesn't need a data package.

Liking the keyboard

By

from Aberdeen, SD

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

I haven't had this phone for too long and am still working out the kinks, but I do like it.  I did not read the manuel and found that most everything was self explanatory.  I was disappointed that there was no video recorder, but had I done more research before buying it I would have known that first.  The picture quality is much better than my LG Scoop, and I like that it is a wider picture.  The keyboard is really nice to have once you get used to the small keys.  It is easy to navigate and doesn't clear all my typing if I hit the back button.  I don't like that it will only allow me to put up to ten contacts per group.  I had to create multiple groups because I had more than ten of that type.  I do need to purchase a card for more memory so I can use more of the features.  I love the color and the size of the phone.  It doesn't weigh down my pocket when I am carrying it.  For the price I can't complain.

The Samsung Freeform is a simple, good phone.

By

from Mize, MS

Comments about Samsung Freeform Cell Phone:

The Samsung Freeform is a good phone, however it is a very simple phone. The QWERTY keyboard is useful, but the buttons are extremly small. The Samsung Freeform does not have video camera and if you have a memory card the camera is really slow. A pro of this phone is that you can check your messages without having to unlock the keypad. The battery holds up very well in this phone. The Samsung Freeform in my opinion needs a few more features and it also needs picture editing and keyboard. The alarm needs to be updated because the only way the alarm will work is if your phone is on low, medium/high, or high. If your phone is on vibrate or silent even with a tone selected for your alarm it will not go off. In my opinion the Motorola Slvr was and is better than the Samsung Freeform. The Samsung Freeform is not a phone i would request a teenager who wants to be tech savvy to get, however, and older person is the more ideal handler of this phone.
