I had this phone for about 3 years, it wasn't broken or anything I just wanted to get up to speed with everyone and the touch screen phones. Which in the end was a huge mistake. Anyhow, this phone was great! It's features mainly relied on its 10 megapixel camera, the rest of the phones features were pretty average nothing amazing. I had very little problems with it, one or two dropped calls in 3 years. An important feature to this phone is its durability. I have probably dropped that phone more times than I can remember, but the worst thing that happened was the casing to the battery pack would pop off, but it would click back on until its next tumble. I swear this thing could probably survive nuclear war. It was pretty portable, not clunky at all. It had decent overall battery, 4-5 hours talking would kill the battery. On it's own it could probably stand about 2 or 3 days. If you forget your charger on a short trip, it would last the whole trip if you limit your phone calls. Overall worth the money, and a good camera for decent on-the-go photography.

I bought this camera phone to cover all my bases: phone, good camera, and music player. The phone itself has held up well. I enjoy the flipshot rotating screen feature. But, this was touted as the best camera phone available at the time 2 years ago and the picture quality is absolutely horrible! My son's cheap "free with contract" phone takes better pictures! I also wanted to listen to my MP3's on this phone, and you can't get a USB cable for it! They expect you to pay premium airtime charges to wirelessly send your information! Don't buy this phone!

Not worth trying =(

By

Comments about Samsung Flipshot Cell Phone:

I was really disappointed with this phone. I picked this one for the good camera quality, thinking it would be convenient to take pictures of my kids as I always have my cell with me. The camera has a long delay (obviously not good with kids) and the reception is terrible!

Great phone Samsung flipshot

By

from Waco, TX

Comments about Samsung Flipshot Cell Phone:

I have to say between the Samsung flipshot and the LG Dare, I really like this one a lot even though it is a typical flip phone, but then again I really like flip phones so this is biased. haha

First off, I want to say, this is a very very reliable phone to make calls and text or to take pictures. Back then the standard phone was pathetic versus this one, and the picture quality was "superior" as well. Also I want to add that the tactile feeling on the number pad is excellent, and I feel like it fits very well with the overall layout of the phone. Also because of Samsung's user friendly layout to access various programs on the phone, it is by far one of my favorite feature phones I have ever had.

Now regarding the camera function the phone, as I recall, there was a zoom and various camera setting like a typical digital camera has. Of course the light quality were very bright, but if you were going to take a serious photo shoot, don't use it. (common sense)

It's a phone it's a cameria, it's superman!

By

from Hays, KS

Comments about Samsung Flipshot Cell Phone:

I love this phone!  I can use this phone to get wonderful pictures.  I can use it to make great phone calls.  The calls are great quality.  I got the phone through Verizon.  Verizon has a great network that supports their great phones.  The pictures are amazing quality.  When this phone came out the cameria was the state of the art.  It had one of the largest megapixal numbers.  I have had this phone for nearly two years.  It works as well as when I bought it.  The picture messages and video messages are amazing.  I got an unlimited text plan with this phone so that i could take advantage of the cameria to the fullest.  The phone also has an MP3 player and bluetooth capability.  I have never used the bluetooth feature so I can not review it.  My biggest problem with this phone is case availablity.  Because this phone swivils to take pictures it is very difficult to find a case to protect it.  Overwise a great phone.

Amazing camera inside a practical cell phone

By

from Jersey Shore, PA

Comments about Samsung Flipshot Cell Phone:

I love this cell phone so much. It's a 3.0 mega pixel camera on a cell phone. It swivels and looks like a normal digital camera. It really saved me money on buying both a new camera and cell phone. Not to mention it takes amazing pictures, is perfect size (for me) for texting, and can live through a pretty bad car accident.

My Samsung Flipshot phone exceeds expectations

By

from Morganfield, KY

Comments about Samsung Flipshot Cell Phone:

My samsung flipshot phone was given to me last christmas by my husband.  It has taken a lot more punishment than I thought it could and takes some really good picture for being a phone.  It gets thrown around in my toolbox at work and occasionally gets tools thrown on top of it if I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing when putting things up.  I work in a very hot enviroment (molten metal) and considering the conditions that this phone has been exposed to I have to give Samsung an A+ rating on this one for endurance.  I just wish they had made some kind of a two-piece cover for it.  It tends to shut off (accidently pressing a button) when you try to get it out of the case.

I should've gotten the blackberry!

By

from La Puente, CA

Comments about Samsung Flipshot Cell Phone:

This phone really sucks. It sends messages whenever the heck it wants.

The reception sucks with this phone. (Call is lost most of the time, tried it with different phones, same area, reception is terrible with this phone!!)

It's not all that.

It doesn't take great pictures like it shows in the commercial.

Great looking phone with great features

By

from Chantilly, VA

Comments about Samsung Flipshot Cell Phone:

This is a great looking (stylish) phone, packed with features.  The phone is extremely slim and sturdy, and allows alot of features that are more common in PDA's.  The interface is great, better than Motorola.  The price point is much better than equivalent Nokia and SonyEricsson phones with similar features.
