Most HelpfulWOW. This phone is really awesome! I've had it for a little over three months now and I'm still very pleased.Let me first say that I've been a cell phone user for over 10 years. And out of those ten years, only 2 of my phones have not been a Nokia. I like the simplicity of their menu and I couldn't find...

Most HelpfulWhen i started looking at new phones, I noticed the Samsung Eternity phone right off the bat. I remember seeing the commercials about this paticuliar phone and I just thought that it was the best thing under the sky. I liked the feature on the touch screen that alows you to turn the phone sideways...
review »I got the Samsung Eternity free with a new 2 year contract with AT&T. I did my research and chose the phone before I chose the contract or provider, purely on the basis of its SAR rating. I'm a firm believer in the link between cell phones and cancer, and this phone has the lowest SAR rating of any phone currently on the market. It has a big, bright touch screen that's easy to manipulate. My previous cell phone actually gave me headaches, and this phone doesn't bother me a bit.
The phone has an internal GPS receiver, and I tried out the AT&T Navigator service for the initial free month. Unfortunately,...
review »I've been having my Samsung Eternity for about 4 months now. I have been loving it ever since I first bought it. Of course, when I was shopping for a new phone I checked out the reviews on several phones. I looked into the LG VU and the LG Xenon in addition to several others. After reading into all the reviews I could find, the Eternity had nothing but good reviews. Please be aware this is not a smartphone it falls just short of one.
I am so glad I picked this phone. First off it's a very sexy phone! The front looks like a cell phone but the back looks like a camera. It's front is shiny black...
review »I have to say that of all cell phones I've owned over the years, the Samsung Eternity is by far my favorite. I'll admit, I can be a bit of an airhead when it comes to cell phones. This one is so user friendly. It has better touch response than the iPhone (which I have also owned) Flip it to the side and you have a full QWERTY keypad that makes texting a million times easier than the "*push*push*O(wait) *push*L(wait) *push*push*push*D " way. The camera is great and you can add a memory card to have tons of additional memory. You can download music, play games and all the features of cellphones...
review »I love this phone! It has a touchscreen, which is very easy to use. It has a 3 megapixal camera, which takes great pictures - very important for capturing pictures of my twin girls. It has a lot more memory than my last phone, around 1.2 gigs. It has a place for my microSD card, which allows for more memory. I can listen to my favorite mp3's on the music player. Using the web browser, I can easily check my email or visit my favorite websites anywhere, anytime. There are tons of games available for this phone, which has provided me with entertainment when my girls are asleep. Talking on this phone...
review »Ok, First of all the Samsung Eternity is the first touch screen phone I have ever owned. I purchased it about 2 weeks ao and so far I am loving it.
It has a very large screen which is very bright. It allows you to change the font size and stle to whatever is more convinient for you. At the bottom of the screen it has 3 preset menu options...the Dial icon the contacts icon and the menu Icon. I have yet to figure out if it is possible to change those. Also on the main screen there is the widgets menu that is customizable. Then at the bottom of the phone the is the standard Call back and end buttons....
review »I am using this Samsung Eternity for the past three months. When I first used it I felt really great. But after I tasted the ease of use with Iphone, i could not rate this high. For a first time touch screen user this is a great phone. But phone is stil not very responsive. You got to click many times to work. I does not have a single click dialiing... We have to go to contacts and dial or from dialled calls. It also lacks lots of application unlike iphone.
Also we need to pay for every application that we can use with this phone. nothing is free like iphone where you can add many application for...
review »With long (natural!) fingernails, most touch screen technology is a hindrance. I find myself fumbling to perform even the most basic of tasks with the side of my pinky finger. Thankfully, the Samsung Eternity has a sensitive touch screen that accurately registers taps from my nails, and includes an excellent calibration feature to train itself to correctly register my touch.
The interface is slick and easy to use, including a brilliantly designed, customizable widget bar. You can select which widgets you'd like easy access to arrange them in the sidebar or pull them out to the main screen.

I got my Samsung Eternity around Thanksgiving of 2008. I had the basics figured out within the first hour of turning it on, and was an expert after about a week. The touch screen is great, and the only problem I have had with it is that when using the touch keyboard, sometimes the wrong letter gets typed. Other than that, no problems whatsoever. This phone has all of the features people are looking for, and it does them well. The web browser is easy to use, the mp3 payer is functional, the 3.0 megapixel camera is pretty awesome, although there is no zoom in the standard shooting mode. One of...
review »The Samsung Eternity is the best cell phone I've ever had! I love the full keyboard feature. It makes texting quick and easy and the built in emoticons are easy and fun to use. Another fun feature is the frames on the camera. The kids love to use it to put funny faces on the cats and each other! One of the best features is the ablility to move from screen to screen so easily. It also comes pre-loaded with a few games that us older folks can play and appreciate like Ms. Pac Man! My daughter likes to use the handwriting recognition to text her dad. She thinks its neat that she can draw...
review »The Samsung Eternity is a great cell phone. I wanted a Apple to begin with and began shopping and came across this phone-Its great ! it does everything I want it to do and has great internet reception. I downloaded a ton of songs and the memory still have over 3/4 left. I love that I can work this one...alot of these newer technology phones are over my head. (You need a teenager to work them) It takes great pictures that I can email myself and print them off-they almost look professional. I am not sure how many it holds but as I said it has a great supply of memory. For the price this is a great...
review »I have the eternity phone, which in my opinion is the same as the apple I phone. I did a lot of comparing of the two, and for me, I chose the eternity. I like the fact that I can turn the phone when I text or view the internet to get a better of what I am seeing. When I text, I have an actual keyboard instead of 3 letters to a key. I do have that, but when I turn the phone, I have the keyboard. I am not one who needs all of the technology offered on the I phone, so this is good for me. I was also able to purchase the insurance offered through my carrier. With the I phone, you have to...
review »I got this phone when my contract with ATT was up. I upgraded to this phone from a pocket PC (which was acctually a downgrade). The pocket PC was a slider/smartphone. It was pretty fat but I liked it. I was told that the Samsung Eternity was not a smartphone but that the internet on it was cheaper than a smartphone internet. That was the selling point for me. I use it all of the time for my business. The battery life is great. It is small enough to fit in my pocket without looking bad. There are a lot of really good functions that help me too. Lost in New York City, I used the Yellow Pages Aplication...
