I got my Samsung Eternity around Thanksgiving of 2008. I had the basics figured out within the first hour of turning it on, and was an expert after about a week. The touch screen is great, and the only problem I have had with it is that when using the touch keyboard, sometimes the wrong letter gets typed. Other than that, no problems whatsoever. This phone has all of the features people are looking for, and it does them well. The web browser is easy to use, the mp3 payer is functional, the 3.0 megapixel camera is pretty awesome, although there is no zoom in the standard shooting mode. One of my favorite features is the widget bar on the main screen. Although there is a set group of widgets that can go here, it is very convenient to have your alarm, bluetooth, music player, calculator etc. just one touch away. You can also download apps, although they go into a different folder. I have just begun to explore this feature, with Google Maps being the only app i have downloaded so far. All in all, I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a smartphone for personal (not business) use and has not jumped on the Apple bandwagon.
