I purchased my phone two years ago and its still great. I am the type of person that goes through phones like a kids goes through candy. I use to have to put out hundreds of dollars for new phones every few months. Ever since i purchased the gravity i have 1. dropped it in a puddle, 2. dropped it in a pile of show, and 3. dropped it in the toilet not once but twice. I have this phone as a hand me down so I didnt choose to go out and buy it so that may be some of the negativity that I have toward it. Among the things I like about it are that it does take pictures and better quality ones than my motorola did and it has the ability to play ringtones other than midi. And boy howdy do they play up the walkman thing as if it makes up for that the phone is a piece of crap. Samsung - SGH-A877 Cell Phone
I definitely, don't like paying outrageous prices for phones, and this phone fit the bill literallly. When I upgraded, I was interested in getting a touch screen, and a pull out keyboard. Although I'm not a teen- far from it, I do communicate with my young sons and co-workers. The traditional phone keyboard was cumbersome and the key- buttons were too small.
