The Samsung DVD-AR650 is a wonderful DVD recorder for the home.

 It has both analog (NTSC) and digital (ATSC) tuners.

Records on DVD-R.

Only draw back I would say was it takes about 30-MINUTES to scan for channels. That's unexceptable.  Good thing is it's rare that you have to use this feature.

I like this Samsung DVD player. It is a good bargain for the money. Although there are other name brands with better quality but for the price you cannot complain much. It is overall a nice player with not much problems. It has been running well for quite a long time now.
