We renovated our kitchen 7 months ago and needed all new applicances. We wanted stainless and I liked the thick curved handle look that many brands had. The dishwasher was the hardest to decide. Our microwave and stove were one brand and my husband fell in love with a Samsung fridge. As we weighed our dishwasher options, the DMT400RH stood out. Not only did it have the cool handle I wanted, but the buttons were on the top and out of reach of our toddlers. The interior is stainless and the racks hold a lot. I liked that the silverware baskets are not on the door. The reviews on this dishwasher were much better than the Frigidaire Gallery and it seemed larger than the Bosch and Kitchen Aid. Only a Kenmore seemed to be comparable, but we really did not want a third brand in our kitchen. Having this dishwasher for 7 months now, I am pleased with our choice. I rarely pre-rinse and often the dishes sit overnight, yet rarely does a dish come out dirty. I use Electrosol tablets and gelpacks and they work fabulously.
