Since I got my blu ray player, I would never think of watching a regular DVD again. The sharpness and clarity of the picture is superior and the colors are so vibrant, it's like virtual reality come to life. And as the prices have declined the bargain has gotten even better on this model.

I don't know what is wrong with my samsung bluray dvd player. I bought it with my samsung hdtv from Sears. It just turns off while we're in the middle of watching a dvd. It is very frustrating. It also takes forever for the door to open and close and then even longer for the dvd to begin playing once...

This is one of the best buys I have made for home video.  I've been through Laserdisc, VHS, regular DVD.  This is the way it is supposed to be!  I had two glitches with not being able to play certain titles, but got the upgrades on-line for free, now it works great!

For the price, this blu ray player is well worth the money.  Processes a little slow, but I've heard that's common because the blu rays have so much information.  There were some great deals on buying this over the holidays, and I definitely took advantage.

Simple, concise and easy to use. The playback ease is quite surprisinging ly good.

 

There are no needed steps for set-up. Simply power it on, open and put in a disk and sit back to view a great presentation.

Samsung provides a great support site with complete, simple to use Firmware upgrades, viewable manuals and a forum for feedback and information sharing.

iI was very satisfied with this product. It had an amazing surround sound capability and it made my movie watching experience better than it already was. I am very content with the product, and the price was reasonable. The blu ray feature is something I've been shopping around for, and I am very happy I found this product.

This is my first blu ray dvd player and it comes with alot of other features I never imagined it is awesome.  bdlive, pandora radio, youtube, netflix, blockbuster and more.

I didn't realize just what a difference HD and Blu Ray can make for a picture. My boyfriend bought an HD TV so for his birthday I bought him the Samsung Blu Ray and HD DVD player so that he could get the best picture possible and that's exactly what happened! This player is certainly worth the money, you get exactly what you pay for and more.

The picture is crisper, the sound is clearer, I can see sweat beads pearling off the side of someone's cheek, it's that great of a picture. I haven't had any problems with DVDs or Blu Rays skipping at all which is always a plus which I can't really say for...
