Behold II

The best thing about this phone is the camera, it takes great pictures. I have had problems with it here and there. I've have had to have my cell phone company replace this phone 3 times with a new behold II due to the amount of problems I was having. It did do things such as erase pictures from my phone, freeze up, and not ring when I received calls. Which I later found out was because my phones software was not updated. So after 3 phones, updated software, and a new sim card I have had no problems what so ever * fingers crossed *. I doHowever I still enjoy the phone very much, it's fairly easy to use. I love the touch screen and the android market that it offers. The android market offers a ton of apps for both children and adults. My toddler loves playing with some of the apps I have downloaded on my phone from him. Works wonders when you have a cranky little one when your out and about.

Samsung Behold 2: Ok Phone

3

The Samsung Behold 2 has very nice features, such Android operating system. The main problem with this phone is that when introduced, they promised that the 1.5 OS would be later upgraded to 2.x. Now they are going back on it and abandoning it for the newer phone Galaxy S. I have been a loyal customer to Samsung for a long time, but this time, after buying two of these when I got my new cell carrier, I will never buy another product from Samsung. It is extremely light, beautiful pictures/video, bright flash light, lots of options, and three desktops. The sound is impressive! The style is also very nice with a world map in its back. Cons: Besides the Android upgrade problem, the battery life is really bad. It can be totally empty in the morning after being fully charged the night before without even using it! Cost is also another probleb unless you want to pay for a one or two year contract.

Samsung Behold II Not worth the money

2

I purchased this phone about six months ago and I not very happy with it. It is not a boad phone, but has lots of imperfections and the worst of all: the Android system cannot be upgraded beyond the 1.6 version. **Good things: **The Samsung Behold II boasts a vibrant AMOLED capacitive touch screen. The smartphone includes more-robust multimedia capabilities, and its 5-megapixel camera takes excellent pictures. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G support are all included. **Bad things:** The phone is expensive, especially compared with the competition. The TouchWiz interface isn't all that useful. Has lots of problems: the memory sd card erases itself frequently, so do not store your pictures for a long time! transfer them somewhere else before it is too late! I upgraded to Android 1.6 a couple months ago and looks like the problem has disappeared. Runs Android 1.5. They promised they will upgrade to 2.0 and was a lie! It can only be upgraded to 1.6 and, in some cases, you have to do it yourself I would not recommend this cell phone to my friends.

This phone keeps me organized

This is a great smartphone for a busy mom.  I love that I can add the Google calendar widget that syncs with my Google account.  I have my agenda (and email) where ever I go.  I also have a to-do list that will nag me until things get done, and a notes app that also has been really handy.  It comes with a 5 megapixel camera which is great. The keyboard is on screen which took a little while for me to get used to but now I like it.  I have an ebook reader app to read books. Texting is a breeze.  You can add games to keep the kids busy. Oh yeah...you can make phone calls with it to! My kids like the Cube, but I don't really use it too much.  I have links to my most used items on the home screen (which is three screens). Battery usage is good for me.  I recharge about every other day.  I do wish the phone had more internal storage.  You can only store apps to the phone, not the SD card, so you do have to watch how many apps you actually put on the phone.  And remember, it is a little computer so don't forget to clear out the internet cache and old texts every once in a while that may bog down the system. You can find great deals on this phone right now and here is why. This phone came with Android 1.5. When I purchased this phone, it was still in line to be upgraded to Android 2.0.  However, Samsung has decided not to support it beyond Android 1.6. This is a shame because it is a great phone. Do not buy this if you have to have the latest Android platform or you will be disappointed. For me it is fine.  All of my apps still work.

It is light and cute, easy to hold and use

This smart phone caught my attention when i was browsing a ton of smart phones that T-mobile provided 6 months ago. I personally like light and small phones. For a touch screen phone, Samsung behold II has a perfect size for my hand to hold and type. It has three desktops to display different widgets  and apps, very convenient. Also, as an android phone, it has a set of google apps, which i like very much, like Google sky map, Google maps, gmail, and so on. Another thing i like about it is its unique Cube manu, which is very cool. Besides, the camera is pretty good. One thing i am not very satisfied is the reaction speed. When the downloaded apps get more and more, it starts to become slower. I have tried iphone 3GS, and it reacts a lot faster than this phone. The other thing is once you turn the phone off, the alarm will not work, i hope to save the energy and avoid the radiation, but i have to use the alarm everyday, for which I have to keep it on. I recommend this phone to people who use T-mobile.
