I've had my Samsung Behold since January 2009 and love it more and more each day. it has all the right features and I love the touchscreen. I got the behold because I wanted touchscreen but did not want to have to have internet service, like with the G1.
The only downsides I can see are the touchscreen sometimes 'times out' for a second or two while texting. then it catches up. and the camera takes some getting used to. once you press the button to capture a picture, the picture doesn't actually get taken for a couple seconds. so if you have a toddler running around, chances are you won't get the picture you were trying for. one solution to this is to change the mode to continuous. then the camera tkaes 9 pictures in a row and you have a better chance of getting the shot.
other than the tow things listed above, the phone is great. games play very well. the screen is large. almost as big as the phone itself. sound quality is great on calls both in the earpiece, speakerphone and bluetooth. it is very easy to transfer files (songs, pics, videos, etc) from the phone to the computer and vice versa.
definitely a good purchase for a tech savvy person wanting a cool new phone with lots of features.
