The Samsung SCX-4623F gives an amazing performance as an all-in-one color printer, scanner, and copier. The Samsung printer has been easy to set up and is convenient to be used in our family. It prints quality images that can easily be framed, works fastly and quietly and is an Energysaver - just as advertised. The ink has lasted long and has not been replaced yet (printer operates in a home - not an office). Some disadvantages are that although images print vividly, sometimes dark images can appear off balance and darker than what they should be. If you operate on a slow Internet connection, it will take a while for the document to actually print, but this is not a withstanding problem. Overally, this printer is a great investment for one who prints often and is worth the price it is offered at.

Purchased two of the Samsung SCX-4623F All in One Printer for my office back in March of 2010.  I've had mixed feelings about the printers and from my daily use of the printers, I've determined that they annoy me more than anything else.  The Good:  The printers look like their more expensive, and more functional brethren, with the cool blue LED lights and sounds.  The printer has a small footprint and doesn't take up too much table space, which is crucial for an entrepreneur like me.  I like the design for the paper tray which is fully concealed in the paper bay of the printer; some other printers have an awkward protrusion for the paper bay, which is extremely annoying.  Also, the printer is quiet.  The Bad:  Print quality is not as great as I would like it to be.  It's a monochromatic printer so everything is black and white, but pictures seem grainy and low quality.  Print speeds are slow and there is a 2-3 second lag when printing out documents, even small size documents consisting of only text.  Toner life is very brief, which is a bummer because people normally buy a laser printer because of the longer life of toners and higher yields.  A big negative is the fact that this printer is not networkable.  You have to attach it to a computer locally and then share the printer across the network - you cannot just attach the printer via usb or a cat5 cable and use it within a local area network.  Even connected locally and shared off a computer, you cannot use the scan ability.  The scanning bed can only be used by accessing the printer through the attached computer.  This lack of flexibility is the printer's biggest flaw.  3 out of 10 stars from me.

We purchased a Samsung Printer a few weeks ago. It is an all-in-one kind, it has printer,copier, scanner, fax machine. It is a laser printer, which I like, because the laser lasts a lot longer than ink cartridges which constantly have to be replaced. The scaning is excellent, and much much better than the previous scanner we had (Brother). The printing, scanning and copying is clear, and not pixilated. The colors don't smudge when you take it out, like other printers. It's very fast, although it takes some time to warm up. I like using the features, and appreciate the quality of the printer. The only thing I don't like is that it was very difficult for me to figure out how to set it up. Setting up the printer/copier part was easy, but the scanner took me an hour to figure out. I suppose it could be me, but i would prefer something simpler. All in all, the printer is great, awesome quality and good speed. A good recommendation for those with some computer experience.
