I would never buy the Samsung Alias again

Every day computer user, somewhat tech savvy, txtng dly
Pros

    really cool qwrerty keyboard for texting

Cons
    Many dropped calls

Samsung - Alias Cell Phone  — 

I have used my cell phone provider for over 10 years now.  Up until now, I've been completely satisfied with the phones and service I've used.  Last November, I "upgraded" to the Samsung Alias, and since then, I've had dropped calls.  Not just a few, but I'd say up to 75% of my calls drop right in the middle of the conversation.  It's really frustrating.

i just bought my 17 year old son a samsung alias and extended his 2 year contract with verizon. i hope this is not the norm with this phone, he's only had it for a week, so we'll see.
