This ram works well with any computer that takes DDR3 ram, not just macbooks, iMacs, etc. I replaced my 2x2GB DDR3 RAM in my Vaio with this and it worked fine (as it should). I ran some memory tests through the BIOS and it came out fine. The RAM clocked in at 7-7-7-20 which is normal for RAM of this speed (as 1333 Mhz RAM is usually CL9, 9-9-9-24). Samsung is usually the OEM brand for many companies' RAM so they are trustworthy in that respect. I have not noticed any RAM related problems, ie failing to POST, BIOS errors, windows errors and it makes my laptop feel a bit snappier when i go crazy and multitask with 30 windows or start developing software/coding. Although i have noticed that my laptop gets a little warmer (as my RAM is accessible from the bottom of my laptop through a little window), but that is to be expected. In any case, solid product!
