ok, ok, I'm not a very experienced cook, which means I AM a microwave oven addict!  Along with your conventional uses, I use it to boil water. Because my stove doesn't always work, I am reduced to my small appliances, such as an electric frying pan and my microwave oven. This one was given to me, so I got it used, without a handy book to tell me how to use it.  But the controls are pretty self-explanatory, and I really like that this one has easy power level adjustments.  Guess what?  There's even a button for boiling water!  What more could a person like me ask for?  All-in-all, I won't be looking for a different one soon!
