Bought 9.5 years ago, July 2011. One or all of four parts needed for heat and drying cycle not available. Now buying a new dryer. This works out to roughly $12.00 monthly for the use of the dryer. Worked well enough while it worked. Why doesn't Samsung commit to keeping parts available for its appliances?

As a person who does laundry frequently I have to say our samsung washer and dryer set are the best bang for your buck. This dryer is not only eye pleasing and gorgeous but works so efficiently and quietly. We had brands from whirlpool to maytag but Samsung has true quality. I love doing laundry now

Being Foster parents with 3 little girls and a husband that is a mechanic, the dryer is full daily. Very dependable. Haven't used the steam function yet, but love the shoe rack for drying things you don't want tumbling.

Needed a new dryer after last one went out. Got this one for our family of 4 and couldn't be happier. Dries cloths on one cycle, no need to run it over and over! Dries bulky loads like towels or blankets with no issues.

my daughter purchased this model a couple years ago and for over 6 months it hasn't been drying the clothes , it would just shut off , she figured it was too high tech for her and she just didn't know how to operate the dryer , I told to call a repairman because it may be going out , she called , the repairman said it has a safety feature that automatically shuts it off to prevent a fire if lint tube is clogged, she then called a company who cleans these tubes (hers is very long and goes from upstairsto basement then outside) he pulled half of a trash bag(kitchen size 13 gal.) of lint from the tubing ! now it works great again .
