I bought the Samsung TV (Samsung PN50C7000 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV (Black) ) at the end of 2011 and yes its been a while since then but I still write this review so people can understand what they are in for. I feel Samsung TV's are really fragile and well I have not had major issues though but yes sometimes I had my TV flicker and thats been rare but it did happen. The thing which really made me think what I got was that my High Def Board in the TV got fried and I had to pay a lot to get it replaced. I had a sony before which worked so well. We wanted to get a PLasma so we got this one. Honestly this one has the best picture quality in the market. You can stand side by side of a panasonic and this one and this will win. This has great quality but yup you will find thousands of issues where people's High Def Board get spoil t and needs replacement. When mine got bad thats when I realized so many people face the same issue and Samsung people are not too great about helping too. Overall I would not step down on this TV as it works great but could do with more apps. It has built in app features in the TV which is kind of cool. But its working great for us right now but the next time I will go for a sony.
