I currently own a 40" Samsung HDTV LCD Flat Panel TV.  I have had mine for about a year and a half.  The picture on this TV is simple gorgeous!  It's clear, crisp, and has great color!  I enjoy watching this TV daily in my living room.  The sound quality on it is great as well.  Having the HD and connecting it with an HDMI cable to an HD Ready Digital Cable box will enhance this TV to it's highest level.  The also come with several inputs/outputs.  I have a Blu-Ray (Wifi Internet Ready) Player connected to it, a Wii, and a Ipod 20watt subwoofer tower speaker system and it doesn't effect the performance of the TV what-so-ever.  Samsung is a well known name and one I will continue to look at and buy in the future.  If you are looking for a nice sized TV for the average sized living/family room, I would highly recommend that you take a look at what Samsung has to offer.  They have come down in price since I bought mine..which is a bonus for you.  They are also a reputable company that is keeping up with all of the technology changes and making sure they have something for everyone!

If you are looking for a great image in the LCD models this is the one TV you should look into before buying your TV.  Very sharp and smooth image.  You wont miss a scene with this Samsung LCD TV. Again, it has a great price and you wont be disappointed with the image processing.  Great physical look that goes with a fancy place.  The connectors in the back provide lots of things that most TVs don't, and in all means you can have the best home entertainment system you desire to have.  I have had this TV for a year and I can easily say that I have had no disappointments from this TV.   I have also played Xbox and other gaming consoles on this TV and just to let you know that it has no downsides on how the image is in fast motion games.  Most people complain about missing scenes on the LCD TVs but guarantee that you will not be loosing anything while playing games especially fast motion games like need for speed or call of duty.

I bought the Samsung LN40C650 40 inch HDTV about 2 months ago as I needed a new television for my bedroom. I have previously bought samsung HDTVs in the past and I am well aware of the picture quality and overall detail that goes into their products. I have to say that this television did not disappoint. The 1080 picture is crystal clear. I watch a lot of sports and this television's refresh rate is great and provides hardly any screen blur when a game is on. It has an ample number of hdmi outputs, usb outs, and other necessary cable hookups as well. I also use this tv a lot for watching movies and the quality of the picture when I play a blu ray disc is just fantastic. I chose a long time ago to always go with a samsung television and after purchasing this one, I remember why. Although the prices are a little expensive, if you wait long enough, you can get this one, or others at a great price, and trust me, you will never regret it.

This television has by far one of the best picture qualities. When we were out looking/shopping for televisions we compared the picture of this television to probably around 30 other televisions and by far this one was the BEST! I can think of only 2 cons to this television and it is this; the buttons on the actual television is hard to see. You have to really look closely and study it before you can turn the volume up or power off or change the channel. Our television (could be because of having an old house) is often VERY dusty and I have to dust the television with the cloth provided twice a week. It doesn't clean up super well so that is a bit disappointing. Besides the picture quality, the other pros to this television is all the many ways you can use it. Like plugging in this that and the other thing in hidden ports behind the television! I like that! Price at the point we paid for it was pretty high, but we would do it all over again!

I was in the market for my very first High Definition Television. After being without TV for 5 years, I wanted my journey back into TV land to be a worthy one. After much research, I found that for the money, it was a fight between Panasonic's Plasma's and Samsung's LCD's. My best friend has a Panasonic, and I think it is a great TV, but compared to the Samsung, it does not do HD as good as the Samsung. I got a great deal with financing, which is what sold me on the Samsung at first, and boy am I glad to went that route! The Samsung is a beautiful TV, which a glass frame that makes it stand out from the rest. My model has internet apps which, when using a wireless flipstick, connects to Netflix in a breeze! When I plugged in my bluray player and comcast cable, the picture was crystal clear. When watching my Celtics beat down their competitors, it almost feels like I'm at the game. The clarity of sound is surprising good for a TV, though I do plan on hooking up some speakers very soon. Great Job Samsung!

We've had this TV for a little over a year (got it on a black friday) and it has been beyond our expectations. The Samsung - LN40C650 40 in. HDTV LCD TV has a great picture and sound quality as well as vivid colors due to its 1080 resolution. It's the perfect size and weight for any living room. Very easy to install and set up. After it was delivered, it took us less than an hour to have it ready to go. It is also great for video games and to watch movies/DVD's. We use it a lot to play video games and the graphics are awesome!! I love that it is an Energy Star, therefore it is energy efficient which is a plus. The "touch of color" is a nice add-on to the design. At first, I wasn't all for it but after we installed it in our living room, it looked sleek and modern... just perfect. The one thing I don't love is the little tune it makes when turning it on and off. If you have the TV muted before turning it off, then you won't hear the tune/music, but we still haven't find a way to mute the tune/music it makes when turning it on. It's not a big deal, but every time I turn it on, it's like I am announcing that I am about to watch TV. LOL!

When I set out to get a new TV it had to be HD and that is all I knew. I hit the internet and started my research. It can be confusing trying to pick out the best TV while looking at specs on a monitor and reading reviews like this one praising the television's wonderfulness. The big pieces of advice I can give to people in regards to getting a HD TV is the following: Know the size you want first (or at least the range). There are websites that can help you match the measurements of your room to the size of the screen you need. Sure you can get a big TV and put in in a small room and complain that it looks horrible and nothing like in the store. Next, know the room its going in and what you're going to do with it. If its going in a room with lots of natural light, you may want to lean toward LCD. If its going in a man-cave, Plasma is your better choice. Video Games are better played on LCD, Movies are better on Plasma. Finally, go and look at them. Don't get wrapped up in the specs too much, of course if you want a model that connects to the internet that should be on the top of your list, but honestly, don't concern yourself to much with refresh rates, and all those other technical specs. Go to the store and look. Go to friends and look. Pick the TV that looks best to you. The Samsung LN20C560 will be one that looks the best, at least it did to my eyes.

We purchased this 40 inch Samsung LCD flat screen to replace our 32 inch Samsung LCD flat screen.  We were so impressed by the 32 inch, that when we decided to upgrade, we knew we wanted to go with another Samsung.  The picture quality on this tv is absolutely amazing.  The HD quality looks better on this tv than any of the others we checked out.  The sound is also very good.  Every once in awhile we will notice white spots that do show up on the screen.  They are always really small, but it is quite annoying since we did spend a decent amount of money on this tv.  They don't show up very often, and when they do, they usually don't last long.  That would be our only complaint about this television.  Otherwise we have been very happy with it, and all of its features and qualities.  I would reccommend the Samsung 40 inch flatscreen to any of my friends, and would feel confident that they would enjoy it as much as we have!

As far as 40 inch flat screen TVs go, thuis is one of the best.  This TV has the best balance of quality and price among the TVs in its class.   The picture is great, functionality is easy and sound is pretty good too.  What I like best about it is that there are actually enough hook ups in the back for me to hook up my XBox 360, Bose Surround Sound and Nintendo Wii all at once.  I can also hook them up for HD if I want. This TV also doesn't run very warm like other TVs I had done.  Some Sony models I have seen have seemed to run very warm, making it uncomfortabel in the summer months.  The TV also seems to have a great life span, as I have had it for a few years with no problems or sign of trouble.  Another great thing about this TV is how easy it is to control your functions.  If you want to switch to a video game console or DVD player, it is very easy and only takes the press of a button to change.   Great TV and easy to use.

This is one of the best tv on the market. It is one of the best purchases i ever decided to make. The difference between the clarity and graphics between other tvs and other do not even come close. This tv has some of the clearest and most sharp pictures i ever seen. Its like i am watching real life. I cannot even tell  the difference.  The sound on this tv is also very good as well. The size is perfect. Not too big nor not to small. The price makes the tv the biggest bang for the buck. It is also very easy to setup. I did not even need to read the manual. This tv is also great for playing video games and watching movies.  The only con is the delay time in turning on the tv. You have to wait like 3-4 seconds before the tv fully turns on. I have owned the tv for about a year so i have yet to wait to see how good the durability for the television is .The remote control is also very well constructed. It is sturdy and can withstand some abuse.
