This is one of the top rated TV's of this size by Consumers Reports.  I could not decide between this and a Plasma so I decided to buy this set for my sun room and get the plasma later for my great room.  When I received the TV  expected it to be good but it is almost unbelievable.  My old set was almost un-viewable in daylight hours because of the sunlight entering the room.  This set has virtually no glare. The colors are bright and vivid and the sound is outstanding I like it so much that I ordered the Samsung LN-T4661F for the Great Room. (Another top rated Consumers Reports for this size)  I received this set and the second verse is same as the first. If anything the second set may have a bit better sound but it is hard to tell.  If you want a glare free TV with great color and outstanding sound I would recommend either set based on the size of your room.
