I purchased the Samsung 226BW LCD Monitor about a year ago, and I had no problems with the unit and think it's a pretty decent monitor.  I needed extra space on my desk and needed to get rid of my old, large monitor and decided to buy an lcd monitor.  This monitor was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to purchase it.  I don't know how much I can really say, it's nice a bright and is perfect for everyday computer use.  There are plenty of buttons that allow you to calibrate it to your heart's content, so you can get it to your exact specifications rather easily.  The only con I can think of is that the refresh rate could be higher, though this issue is only noticeable when playing high speed games.  Though it is supposed to have a 2 ms response rate, I still notice an issue during certain activities.  For instance, when I play first person shooters, I can notice some pixelation on the screen during moments where the action is faster-paced and a lot of stuff is moving around the screen at once.  It's really not too big of a deal, but I figured I would mention it if any hardcore gamers are reading this review.
