First, I would like to say this is a great place if you want a wide selection of liquor at your finger tips. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable if it in there assigned area. I WAS RUNNING LATE FOR A DINNER PARTY,WHEN I WENT TO SAMS.I HAD HEARD IT HAD A GOOD SELECTION OF WINES.IT WAS PACKED, BUT I FOUND SOMEONE TO HELP ME RIGHT AWAY. Nice wine bar with very nice employees.  We stopped in for a glass of wine at the end of a Bears home game and although the staff informed us that they needed to close early for a private function, they still served us a glass and did not rush us out the door.  The cheese selection looked impressive and the prices seemed comparable.  I would love to go back… read full review »

  I make a point of going to Sam's each time I am in the windy city.  It is worth the drive from any point in Chicago.  There is plenty of parking and helpful staff always assists by helping load my purchases into my vehicle.  There are hard to find wines and champagnes at reasonable prices.  Sam's has great prices on spirits as… read full review »
