review »What a wonderful place! My Sam's Club is very conveniently located, has friendly people and good prices.
My daughter and myself go almost every Wednesday before church to eat dinner. They have the greatest pizza and icecream. The four berry sundae is sooooo good. Sometimes we get a whole pizza baked to go. You can also buy them already made but not baked so that you can bake them at home when you are ready.
The pies and cakes they make there are to die for!
There is always plenty of everything. I've never went after something to find that they had ran out.
The samples are great. It's nice...
Below is a rule with a Business Sam's Club Membership stating that you can purchase on-line using AMEX as one of the payment methods, however the website does not go into detail regarding the only thing you can purchase is select items (VERY Limited Amount Of Items) for delivery only. If you select items that can not be delivered the order is considered a Click"n"Pull for pick up at the nearest Sam's Club which does not accept American Express as a payment method.
When calling the local store Chattanooga, TN to ask why the on-line order did not prompt for payment I spoke with 4 very...
review »We are members of Sam's Club and have been for probably 18-20 years. I find that Sam's Club is not a guaranteed best price, but if you know what you are looking for you can trim costs from your family budget. We became business members years back, for our small service retailer that we owned and continue our membership for our personal needs as well.
Things like Charmin Toilet Paper, which my husband will use no other, is not the cheapest product at $7.68 a 12 pack at our local store, at Sam's club they have 36 rolls for $17.98 creating a net savings of $5.06. We only purchase the deals...
review »We joined Sam's Club when our second child was born. Prior to that, it seemed silly to spend money for the right to spend more money. But with two kids of our own--plus I do child care and therefore feed and diaper several more kids--the savings are well worth the cost of membership. Since I'm a child care provider and therefore a small business owner, we save $5 a year on the cost of membership ($35 a year instead of $40) and we can also shop earlier on most days, during Gold Key Hours. So especially if you're a child care provider, I highly recommend it.
You need to be willing to buy in...
review »I love Sam's Club.
I have lived all over Texas, in parts of California, and in and around Orlando, Florida.
I have been to Sam's Clubs in other states as well.
Unfortunately, it builds anxiety when gearing up to make a trip to the one in my hometown of Corpus Christi.
Make sure you bring a freezer bag; because, you are guaranteed to spend some time waiting in line.
Maneuvering about the club is a long and difficult process.
Items are left in carts and on palates in the worst possible locations for traffic flow.
Often, ice crystals are built up in ice cream and other frozen goods indicating temperature...
Sams Club is a convenient location to shop for items you may use all the time. I try to limit my purchases there to what I really need as the items will quickly add up to more than I am willing to spend. The bakery there is wonderful. You can order a cake in advance or pick up premade goods. In each part of the store, there are always product displays and free samples being given away. The one thing that I do not like about sam's is that they do not accept coupons the way that bj's does. Also I feel like they should have a better variety to choose from. I like to buy fresh chicken wings...
review »Sam's is a good place to shop for certain items. You need to be wiling to stock up and spend more to save money over time. Not a good place for a quick visit of any type. You can buy better quality items sometimes for the same or less money that that brand would usually sell for. Small business owners and large families can realize savings here. Some nice gift items too. Good place for folks that smoke to buy their expensive items too. Not a place to shop where you need helpful or knowledgeable sales folks....
Over this past thanksgiving holiday, we were in our motor home driving thur oceanside california, we found that all of the campgrounds were full, from la to san diego.
We later learned that it was agasnt the city's law in oceanside that you can not stay in parking lot ie.walmarts overnight.
I called the Sam's club in vista 4 miles away on highway 78 talked to the manager and was told no problem.
what a fine person and a great addition to sams management team
I recently renewed my Sam's Club membership since they built a store about 5 miles from my place. I am a health conscious shopper and was disappointed to find out the lack of organic produce such as bread and frozen vegetables.
Prices are reasonable though and comparable to Cosco. I suggest you provide a variety of organic produce for the health-conscious consumers if you want to stay competitive.
This most be the worst website to purchase ever. Everytime I have place an order on line I received an email that I have to call to verify my order. I call and anyway the CN the order without explanation. I called and now I have to wait for a call in 3-4 days from their Order Verification Department to see what happened. Incredible. Never had any problems buying from the COSTCO website. Twice this has happened.
