We decided to travel to the Samoset Resort in Maine for the first time for our 7th wedding anniversary getaway.  We go somewhere every year.  Although Maine is only 6 hours from where we live, we had never been there before.  We were glad we went.  We decided on the Samoset especially for the golf course.  After booking online, we decided to call and upgrade our room.  We decided to book a suite with a balcony and our own private hot tub on the balcony.  When we arrived, we drove through the back nine of their private golf course.  The views were amazing.
