I am an avid fan of the "In Death" series by J.D. Robb (a.k.a. Nora Roberts).  The 27th book in the series, Salvation in Death hit the shelves on November 4...I was so excited to read it that I made a special trip to Borders just to pick it up.  Salvation in Death proved to be just as great as the 26 books that came before it.

The "In Death" series features Eve Dallas, a tough New York City Homicide Lieutenant, her bad-boy husband Roarke, and her bouncy partner Detective Delia Peabody.  Salvation in Death begins in the year 2060 with the murder of a local Catholic priest in Spanish Harlem. ...
