When I first bought the Salton Rice Cooker, I had to be careful measuring the rice in the cup that came with the rice cooker. The rice cooker can cook up to three cups of cooked rice. This amount is less then that of most measuring cups. Additionally, while I cooked the rice in the rice cooker exactly according to the instructions in the instruction manual, the rice still stuck to the bottom of the metal container that you cook the rice in.
