This machine is jr in name only

Comments about Salton Jr. JM211 Elite Pro 186 Watts Juicer:

I live in citrus country so when we moved here I wanted to make fresh juice for the family and certainly wanted to impress the family and friends from snow country when they came to visit. I must admit the juice is great but my hubby said each gallon I make it like liquid gold as far as what it cost to make a gallon of juice.

Pulp Setting Effectiveness
I do not like pulp in my juice, however my husband does and so I do strain my juice one more time. Time consuming, messy but it takes that extra straining as far as I am concerned.

Stability While in Use
Doesn't bounce around and doesn't sound like the motor is straining and I have used it for long periods of time.

Ease of Cleaning
The unit comes apart for cleaning which is a good thing as juicing is a sticky mess and the sticky seems to multiply like a wildfire.

Durability
The juicer works great and the end result taste great, however it's a good thing that the machine is strong enough to run for a long period of time. This is a time consuming, sticky mess and clean up is a challenge. It seems sticky transfers quickly. I sure don't save money juicing and according to my hubby, his labor is worth a lot. We put the juice in quart size zip lock bags and freeze them flat. Makes it easy to store, and you just open a bag and pour into a pitcher when ready for some OJ.

Versatility/Number of Features
Has everything you need for juicing, good size for easy storing and I store more than I juice.

Design
Good looking machine, works great and Yes, I recommend if you want to juice for whatever reason.

Inherited my Salton Juicer

By

Comments about Salton Jr. JM211 Elite Pro 186 Watts Juicer:

My mom had this juicer and I inherited it from her because I was doing a lot of juicing for her. I had never used one like this before because I only had a small simple juicer. I like the fact that I can do so many more fruits and vegetables that I could with my simple juicer. I was doing a lot of juicing for her so she decided to give it to me instead of having to go out and buy one just to do things for her. It has a nice capacity with a few different attachments as well as a great plunger to help get all the produces pushed into the grinder. I am pleased with the speed of the grinding as well as the process of separating the juice and pulp. Much easier than the smaller juicer that I have. My only complaint is that some of the juices runs down the side and misses the container if I'm not careful to place it appropriately when in use. The clean up is not quite as easy as my small juicer but worth the clean up to get the amount of juicing that I need to do.
